The King's POV.
"Your Majesty, the General is here"the head eunuch said beside me.
I lifted my head from the scroll to address him.

"Let him in"

"Greetings your Majesty"
"Your Majesty, something unpleasant has happened"
"Lady Bori has passed away"
My eye brows furrowed in question.
"She died from a wound infection, when she was stabbed at the ribs the last time"
"His highness rushed to see her but it was too late, the Prince out of devastation hurt Joon woo to avenge Lady Bori"
"We don't know what exactly happened but he was found dead from the intake of a known poison and Se won was beside him unconscious"
"The prince went to see her highness immediately after and he hasn't left her yet"
I can only imagine how he is feeling, Bori....has she really passed away?
From the stories Yoo hwa told me of her she seems to be a lively person and now she is really gone.

"Court minister pass the verdict of Joon woo's execution"

"I will follow your command"

"Head Eunuch lead the way"
I stepped down from my throne seat and walked down the court's long corridor.

The head eunuch told the maids not to announce my presence so i walked in silently, the lights were still bright so it was easy to trace them on the floor at the side of her bed.
She was kneeling beside him with her veil on and he was leaning on her....shoulder?...crying?
Her palm was patting his back gently, i got a strange feeling from the sight but it was better to brush it off.

"Your Majesty" she said with a short bow shifting from her position to face me.

"My lady"
"Younger brother"
"The General just informed me about what had happened"
"I apologize, it was all because of my negligence"
If she was able to reach a better physician she could have been cured.
Or could it be the subsidy on medicines were altered?

"To her last day..she has been grateful towards your Majesty for protecting her and her family, this part was mine to protect" he said.
Still..who ever suffers under my rule is my responsibility and for someone her age lying cold so early weighs heavy on everyone's heart.

"Younger brother" i said kneeling beside him.
"I don't know if this will comfort you but since lady Bori didn't wrong anyone in her life the heavens will be a resting place for her, she will be more cared for than what we can all do for her"
'I just hope he will be okay after some time'
I looked at my lady who seems to have tears in her eyes and wondered how it could have been if.....but i rather not think about it.

Yoo hwa's POV.

"Agasshi, you mean Bori found out you were a girl before she left the palace?"

"Yes, she wrote she over heard my conversation with Chin mae while she was pretending to sleep but she couldn't ask why he called me Noona or who i was, but she regrets it, she wishes she asked"
It all makes sense now why she became more relaxed around me with time.
I can remember how dramatic the second day i went to visit her was, i don't know how i forgot i was currently a man.

Flash back.

"Physician is she awake?"

"Yes but she is asleep, you can go in"
I slid the door open and entered the infirmary, she was lying on her back asleep.
I walked to stand beside her, i lifted the blanket innocently to check the wound that was to her ribs.
Her whole upper body was wrapped with a bandage excluding her arms.
Before i could realise she has awaken, her eyes snapped open with a scream.
She managed to sit up as quickly as she could, holding the blanket to herself.
"What are you doing?!!"
"What is this?!!"

"Calm down"
"I...."
The physician came in, in a hurry.

"Young man"
"What are you doing?"
"Are you her brother? Even if.."

"Don't misunderstand"i said fast.
"I apologize, please excuse me"
