During her Majesty's coma, his Majesty once took it upon himself to give the young new born Prince a bath, he saw the the birth mark he had at his lower back on the baby's shoulder.

It took Yoo hwa about two weeks to come back to herself, after these weeks she was able to smile lightly at the King's attempt to cheer her up.
A month has passed and Yoo hwa looked fine to everyone who meets her, she went on with her duties normally but his Majesty suspected she was only trying to be strong and he was indeed right when a day came he made entrance to her chamber quietly and saw her crying on her bed side, that night he didn't attempt to comfort her, he thought it was best to leave her alone.

The next day the high priestess visited his chamber late night because of the urgency of what she wanted to show him, but she told him he had to sleep first, it was during this sleep that his Majesty had a dream at court where Yoo hwa made entrance wearing a plain white dress holding the young Prince in her arms

"I have sinned greatly against your Majesty, this child is not your flesh and blood" she informed kneeling in court in the presence of all the officials.
"I will accept any punishment, please don't forgive me" she adds a tear escaping her eye as she lifted him up in the air.

He woke up perplexed and thought.
'My lady is only concerned about how she can't live without them, not knowing it is the same way i can't go on without her too'
'And now she asks of me the hardest of requests, to let her go forever'

That night too Yoo hwa found a letter at her chamber, a letter she had to mistakenly shatter the cup she was holding because of its content.
In the morning her Majesty did make entrance to the court with the same attire and it was the same scene but he stopped her from saying what she ought to have said, rather he announced to his officials that she will leave the palace with their first and second child for some time, some of the officials protested for the safety of their Crown Prince but his Majesty knew that the sole reason why Yoo hwa chose to do this was because she doesn't want Goguryeo to claim him for their own and if she plans to leave the palace forever it is not a choice for her to leave him behind, so his Majesty reassured that the Queen would return soon.

Later that day his Majesty found a letter and half of thier spy bird left by Yoo hwa telling him she is sorry and she wouldn't  ask him to wait for her, meaning she is likely not to return to him.
Yoo hwa went home to settle the children before sneaking out with In su to the location written to her on her letter.
It was an empty field with a small simple cotagge, a lady was standing in front of it feeding a group of chickens.

"Excuse me"
"Is the master of this house Lee hyung seok?"
In su went ahead to ask her.

"Yes, who..."

"I am a friend of his"

"A friend?"

"Is he in?"

"Yes"she replied hesitently.
"Follow me"

Her Majesty followed them in and she led them to the first visible room.
"Nayuri(my lord), you have a visitor"

"Who is it?" his voice came through.
In su and Yoo hwa exchanged expected glances.

"Tell him it is Sa wol"

"It is Sa wol, Nayuri(my lord)"
There was a long silence between the closed doors and then he finally said..

"Let her in"

Yoo hwa went in and slid the door behind her to see him seated by his bed holding a walk stick, he lifted his head to reveal his face that was partly covered in beard and his finely packed hair.
She looked straight to where he was seated, her eye brows forrowed and a tear was threatening to make an escape.

He decided it was too long for silence so he spoke first.

"Your Majesty"
She locked eyes with him with a firm gaze through the dim room, she was wondering what could have happened to him and why he took things this far, despite the questions running through her mind she was only able to say one word and it came out hesitently like a whisper, a whisper only now said in her dreams or her night mares.

"Taejangun (General)"
