"Ri,wake up please,"
I hear a familiar voice say.I slowly lift my arm up to my eye and scratch it,opening my eyes to see who was infront of me.
I looked around,Andy was sitting infront of me and i was on his bed,laying down.I sat up,holding my head in hands in slight pain.
Slowly,the memories of the dance came back at me like a truck.The bullies,Andy getting hurt,then he somehow shook the whole ground and practically destroyed the school gym.
I stood up with the help of Andy and he helped me to the living room of the house where Lauren and Caitlin were sitting down.
"Good,your all awake.Now that you are,can you please tell me what the hell happened?!"
Caitlin screamed in confusion and worry.
"Mom,don't you dare deny it.Andy is a mutant,just accept it!"
Lauren fights back at her mother,her mother shaking her head and pacing around the room.
I release my arm from Andy and slowly walked towards Caitlin,slowly grabbing her shoulders and facing her towards me.
"Caitlin,he didn't have control over it.The X-Gene always shows itself in a matter of stress or danger."
I say knowingly,she looks at me confused.She knows Reed has chat with the siblings and me about the X-gene and how it appears,but she never expected me and Lauren to know this much.
"And exactly how are you supposed to be an expert on mutants huh?"
Caitlin says in a distressed voice,i looked and Andy and Lauren,they both nodded at me and i sighed.
I held my hand out towards to a glass and it flew to my hand,i clasped it tight and looked at Caitlin,my eyes turning a bright cobalt colour instead of my usual hazel eyes.She stares at me in shock and tears were welling her eyes,she turned to Lauren.
"You too?"
She asked disappointingly.
Lauren nodded sadly.
"Remember that time at church?We were about to crash but we were saved.You said it was a miracle..it was me."
Lauren said doing a thumbs up but turning the thumb towards her to make a point that it was no miracle that saved them from a fatal incident but instead her 17 year old daughter.
Caitlin sat down on the couch,holding her head to wrap around the thought of her children and a close girl being mutants.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
She looked at me and Lauren.
I stood back beside Andy,not wanting to say anything.He clasps my hand in an effort to comfort me.
"Mom,Dad put's people like us three in Prison.We didn't have a choice."
Lauren says sadly,trying to make Caitlin understand their situation and Caitlin nods.
"Fine,then we will lo-"
Caitlin was interrupted inbetween her sentence by a loud bang on the door.I furrowed my brows and walked towards the door,looking through the peep-hole (Idk what it's called) to see who was there.
"This is Sentinel Services!Please let us in,we just want to talk!"
An agent from outside yells.
I look at their badges and make a mental note,
Agent Turner.Agent Weeks.
"No..no no no no no!"
I say.
I back away from the door with my eyes widened,Lauren stares at the door in shock while Andy looks at me.He walks towards me and pulls me into a hug,i wrap my arms around him and think about what would happen if they got to us.
Sentinel Services is a Mutant Apprehending agency,they most likely heard about the dance and think the source of the problem was us.
They bang on the door even harder,Caitlin runs towards the door and leans her back on it,locking it aswell because she doesn't want to let them in.
