Lauren,Andy and me enter the station from the big save their soul mission of Lorna and Reed.I threw my bag onto the table near me and flopped onto the sofa,my senses numb and my feet ache like hell.
I'm reeled back in to reality when i hear this:
"Dad!"
And i pull my head up to look and see Lauren and Andy attacking Reed,who was wearing a beige ugly prison suit,in a tight bear hug.I laughed and got up,dragging my feet over to them.
I use my telekinetic abilities and move Andy and Lauren aside,smiling gently at Reed with lips closed and then giving him a slight hug.I also shake my hand with him.
"Like the taste of freedom?"
I asked in a sarcastic and comedic way.He laughs and looks down them back at me.
"Yeah,yeah i really do.Thanks for staying with my kids,Tori."
He said in a thankful away.I nod and see Lauren look at Andy then smirk and frown,what was she going to do.
"Oh don't worry Dad,she did.Although,i think Andy gave her some 'special treatment' more than once."
Lauren said with a big smirk spread across her face,i widen my eyes and look at Lauren astonished.
To my surprise,Andy wasn't even red!He just hit Lauren on the arm then chuckled nervously,looking down and scratching the back of his neck.
"One second.."
I say and pull Lauren away from the scene.
After 3 minutes of embarrassing Lauren to some of her new friends.
"Back!"
I say in sing-song tone,skippimg happily while Lauren comes out behind me glaring.Just as we were about to go back to Reed,we see him struggling with some bastard.
"Reed?!"
Caitlin screams in horror and tries to step inbetween the two but get's pulled back by some of the spectators.
"I'm gonna kill you.."
I hear the guy mutter and Reed fights back,punching him in the stomach and was about to right hook his face but the guy turned invisible..almost Faded away.
I clench my jaw and close my eyes,holding my hands out to sense him.My Dad told me this,i can sort of like sense aura's around the place because of my Telekinesis so i decided to use it on the 'Fade' guy.I felt his aura and clenched my fist and made a pulling motion,not allowing him to move.
"John!"
I scream when Fade decides to fight against my powers and almost Punches Reed before John steps in and catches his fist.
Fade goes back to being visible and looks at Reed,hatred in his eyes.
"What are you doing?!"
John says,oblivious to why he is picking a fight with Reed out of no where.If it is because of this Mutant hatred to Human i swear i will flip.
"How 'bout protecting us?"
Fade said back,i furrowed my brows,looking at the Strucker siblings then Reed them back at Fade.What the hell did Reed do now?..
"Just so ya'll know,last time i saw this son of a bitch?He was working for Sentinel Services.."
He says,i widen my eyes.It's either Fade was lying or he was telling the truth but didn't know all of the story.
The crowd erupts into negative chatter about Reed and i think hard.Sentinel Services could have used him for something but he bailed?I don't know but i sure as hell do know that Reed screwed up in less than one day he got back.
"Everyone just calm down."
John said,making hand motions in an effort to stop the wave of conversations being thrown at Reed.
"Calm down?This dude's job was locking up people like us!"
Fade said,looking around for reactions.I glare at Fade,shooting daggers at him with a threatening look.
