I woke up and scratched the back of my neck.I sat up tiredly and looked around.Suddenly,i heard two faniliar voices coming from downstairs talking to Caitlin. I furrow my brows and tap Lauren and Andy, shaking them awake.
"Tori?What is it?.."
Lauren asks in a lazy voice.I push my ear forward slightly to signal for them to listen closely.
They soon hear the voices downstairs and us three hop out of bed,rushing downstairs to see who was there.
"Caitlin?!"
I ask.I widen my eyes slightly when i see Marcos and John were there,they snap their heads at us and turn back to Caitlin.
"We need to go,you're not safe anywhere now!"
Marcos says in a reasoning voice,i look at Lauren who was staring at the window,frozen in place.
I follow her gaze and i stare in shock.There was a damn mob out there with rifles at the ready!One looked like they were leading them all because he was in the middle walking,while the others were at his side and aiming their guns at the door.
"Uh..guys?"
I point and they look at me then the window.
"THAT.Proves my point!"
Marcos says and they start oacing around the room,debating on what to do.
"This all started when you brought those mutants into my house!"
Reynols said with a frustrated voice and Caitlin looks at him,astonished and hurt.
"The only Mutants i brought into your house are your Nieces and Nephew."
Caitlin says, defending me.I felt me heart warm when Caitlin said that because it meant i was like a daughter to her. Closest to a family i've ever gotten in my life after Mom and Dad.
"Save that family spat for later,we got bigger problems."
Marco's says, tired of all the dilemma the Strucker family was having at the moment.
"We know you're in there!Danny come on out!"
A ginger head man says from outside.I gulp and check outside the window once more,my heart pounding out from my chest when i see them glaring at me through the window.
I immediately close the curtains and massage my temples,having small and weak panic attacks.
"Who did you tell you were coming?!"
Reynolds said in a 'Caitlin!' tone,Caitlin looked at him like he wasnmt even her brother anymore which made me feel like we shouldnmt of encouraged Caitlin to bring us along.
"No one!"
Caitlin snapped back.
"Well obviously one of your friends here did or-"
Reynolds said while looking between Marcos and John who were looking outside but was cut off by Scott taking his phone out and staring at something,i narrowed my eyes at him and immediately glared at him.I knew what this idiot did.
"Dad i-"
"Not now Scott!"
"Dad!I texted a pic of a trophy Andy tore apart to one friend!"
He said,guilt written all over his face.Lauren and Andy snapped their heads towards him and i grabbed his phone,going to his messages and looking at the phone.
"You what?!"
Andy screamed and stood beside me,looking at the photo.I threw the phone back at Scott and raked my hair backwards,the feeling of panic overwhelming me.
"Oh Scott.."
"He swore he wouldn't show anyone,he swore."
He said.
"That doesn't mean his Dad couldnmt grab his phone and check it out!"
I said frustrated with Scott's stupidity.When you have mutants over,anything that happens in that house should stay in that house.Nothing leaks out to the outside or there will be consequences.
