Maya looked at her dear husband who stood feet away from her. She was tired and she needed rest. That's what she had thought of all the way back to the mansion. She wanted to cuddle up on the cold floor and let the slumber consume her. At least that's what she hoped for.

But now here she was. Looking at the handsome devil that had pleading eyes all this time. She wasn't ready to say a word to him. Not now that she had said that she will think about it. Yes, she had told her best friend everything. Everything about the turns of events and how she wanted her husband and father to pay for everything.

It's not like Leonel hadn't tried. He did, in fact every time they met. He would take her to the gym and let her punch the punching bag all she wanted by telling her that it was her husband and father. She did it and it was always so overwhelming every time she did that. It was the best feeling ever. The feeling of revenge would grow every time she did that.

Leonel being Leonel, he would burst her bubble by telling her that it was time to let go. To be the naive girl that she was before. The one who always saw positive things in every negative things that happened around her. She damn wanted that. To be who she was before the night that Chris called her dad. She did but her quest for revenge was way stronger than her wanting to see good again in people.

That's why after one week of threatening her dear husband, she called Kyle asking if she needed a different job the one she was doing at the moment. Of course, her best friend wouldn't say no as long as she was paid much more than her current job. Her contract was expiring in a month and she had no plans of renewing it again.

Maya had come up with the best way to revenge for her husband. She wanted him to beg her. To crawl on his knees and ask for mercy. That's what she wanted and what's the best way to do that? Of course, take away what he loves the most in this world. And that's only one thing. His company.

That's what he values most in this world, so, she would buy his shares through someone else and when she made sure she had the most shares in the company, she would make herself know to him. It would hurt him knowing that he was no longer in control. She would be his boss and he would do what she asked of him.

It was the best revenge ever. Her husband eating from her palm. What could be more fan than that? So she continued to work on her plan for a whole month and gave her husband silent treatment. It hurt him and she could tell because every time he tried to say something to her, she would walk passed him.

She never knew why but every time she failed to acknowledge him, she got hurt too. The silent was killing her too and she hated herself for it. Revenge wasn't supposed to hurt when your the one exciting it but it hurt when came to her.

It hurt that every night when he remembered her she could sleep on the couch she cried silently because she wanted to do what he said. It hurt when he made his mission to sent her white roses every morning in her office with an apology card. She wanted to tell him to stop doing it. She wanted to talk to him but every time she was about to do that, something always reminded her why she was in silent treatment.

She did want to make his coffee every morning that she woke up and he was out jogging just like he did since the first day of their marriage. But her subconscious would remind her of her revenge. The revenge that made her get hurt with every move she made. She wanted to be like the two men.

Ruthless with words. She wanted to say things that would sting one like a bee. She wanted to much to call names like they did and feel nothing. She wanted to be heartless like them. Heartless in a way that you could stab your own daughter numerous time and feel nothing. That's what she wanted to become. Just like them.
