Chris watched as Maya's eyes widen. Of course, he loved the look in her eyes and he would give anything to see that every day. Hurt. That's all he wanted to see in her. Not even a bit of her smile like during his fashion show.

The smile of victory he had seen on that day. It was the weirdest moment of his life at that moment. He had felt a punch of anger boil in his stomach, but he fought to stifle it. He wasn't about to loose his cool in front of the world.

That would be so bad for his image. And that's why he let her win the game of chess. She had made quit a move that he had not seen while making. Maybe, he had left his queen unprotected.

Yes, that had to explain her victory that day. But he had swore that he wouldn't make the same mistake. Never again.

That's why after the show, he went searching for Kimberly at the backstage. He had her explain why she had given out his hand made clothes to his dear wife. To which she gave him a reason that he had not even see due to his anger.

She was right. Since everyone loved the clothes and how Maya had dressed. Within one week, they were running out of stock hence making the employees to work times two. Of course, Chris noticed their handwork and he had given them bonus.

Chris smiled at Kimberly as she walked in the lounge. Her suitcase was at the door way living him to take it. He was the gentleman and that's why she left it there. Chris moved to pick the suitcase up thinking of how he had planned all this.

He had remembered his mother's present while at Kimberly's place. That's when he came up with an idea to go with her but not to Kenya as planned. He chose the hotel that was the most ideal for him and it was Never Again.

The name only talked about his regrets. Never again was he going to kiss a stranger on his stage. Never again was he going to betray Kimberly in his life. Never again was he going to let anyone win in this game of chess, not even his own mother.

And here he was. Taking his girlfriend's suitcase to the bedroom while his wife's was still on her hands. How ironic was that? But to him, it wasn't ironic, not in anyway. She wished for this, and he was giving her what she deserved.

Pain. Heart aches. Hurt. Unwanted. Lonely. And so many more. She deserved that and much much more. Just like when he found her crying in his room and on his bed. Seeing her there, crying all by herself without him doing anything, gave him so much pleasure.

Pleasure of seeing her hurt all alone. Like a loner she was and a loner she will continue to be. He walked back to find Kimberly on the couch typing on her phone. She looked so beautiful on that short dress she was wearing. If only his wife wasn't standing there like a puppy with a tail between her legs.

"Ooh darling," he called sitting next to her and pecking her cheek. "You look so adorable in this dress, I wish we were alone."

Kimberly place her phone on the coffee table, "But we aren't, so, please behave."

Chris rubbed his palms on his face before looking at his wife. How people found her beautiful, he had no idea. To him, she had wriggles on her face that made her look much older that a twenty five year old. Her lips were so full that he had to ask himself how he even got to kiss them.

He never loved full lips. To him, they suck his whole mouth so he preferred thin lips. Just like the ones of Kimberly. Thin, yet so soft for one to be kissing all day long. Thinking of them made him want to taste her.

The green eyes that stared at him weren't even Beautiful. They held nothing but pain in them and he never wanted that. To live with someone who had to force a smile out of herself. A smile that he only saw once, reach her eyes. No, that's not what he wanted.

"I think you already met my lunatic of a wife," he said watching her reaction.

She gave him nothing and that had him fold his left hand in a fist.

"Ooh love, that's too insult," Kimberly said trying to hold her laughter.

Chris relaxed when he heard the humour in Kimberly's voice.

"Not until you hear all of it,"he said taking her hand to kiss it.

"So, this is the prostitute who took my future husband away?" Kimberly said standing up to walk around Maya.

Chris got on his feet too, "Yes, it's the Delilah who never let your king marry you."

Chris looked at Maya. She was emotionless. Like she felt nothing at all. She hadn't even moved from where she stood since they walked to the penthouse. Her eyes weren't even blinking for the past few minutes that had passed.

She looked like she had locked herself in her own little world. And that, that wasn't good at all. He wanted her to hear all the insult and humiliation he and his love had for her. Not her to space herself out.

Kimberly moved at the front and slapped Maya. That took Chris by surprise but he loved it. She was on the floor holding her right cheek and he could have bet that it did sting like a bee. He was so proud of his queen. She was fighting for him. What more could he ask for?

I mean, he had money, a loving mother, cars, mansions and a tigress for a girlfriend.

"That," she began, "was for taking my future husband," Kimberly went ahead to pull her hair, "and this, it's for making me cry every night since I can't have him as I used to.

"You whore, why did you ever come near him? Why did you kiss him? Are you happy now? Now that you've him? Are you? Because the last I checked, he still loves me. Only me and not you. You think you're perfect for him?

"You think because your dad is a governor you can have everything that you wish for? Just because you kissed him you thought you will ever be happy with him? News flash girlfriend, love can't be bought. Even the governor can tell you that."

She moved to push her towards the door.

Chris moved to hold her back, "Hold yourself together dear, remember to the world I'm married to this devil and I'm in love. But I like what you did. I just don't want you caught on CCTV cameras outside the penthouse."

Kimberly pushed herself into his arms, "I wish we could get rid of her."

Chris rubbed her back, " I know and that is my wish but patient sweetheart, very soon."

He looked over her shoulder. Maya held her head high as if nothing had been done to her. How dare she? She was acting all mighty instead of her being broken. Whatever was going on in her mind, he hated it. How he wanted to break her.

"Can you take me out, please?"

Chris pulled from the embrace, "Where do you want me to take you?" He asked rubbing her shoulders.

"Club," she answered looking over her shoulder, "I don't want to be near this she goat."

Chris smiled and kissed her forehead, "As you wish my dear. Lemme take my wallet."

Chris walked into the bedroom and after a minute he walked back to held out his arm for her. She took it and led him out. He was happy if he had to say. She stood up for him and he loved it.

And now, they were going to clubbing without telling that daughter of Jezebel where to sleep. All he had to do was to make sure that they came back home late. Late enough for her to suffer.
