Chris kept kissing her on her shoulders as she slept. H e loved how she smelled and he couldn't help himself at all. Her scent was heaven and he was very much sure that he would never get used to it. Just like how she could still love him after everything that he had done to her.

He had humiliated her and yet she choose love him. For crying out loud he had done so much. So much that if he was the one who went through what she went he would be a bitter man. Who wouldn't anyway, after all, we're all human.

Yes, that is what we're. Only human that we crave for revenge when we're done wrong. That we only thing of hurting others more than we were hurt by them. It's not wrong to want that but to what extent. To what extent to we want to go and how sure are you that you'll come out of it a better person. A happy man?

That's how we intent to forget. We forget that in the process of having our revenge we also hurt. And worse, we hurt more than you hurt the intended one. And we also forget to ask ourselves what next after the revenge. I mean, one kills a wife because the cheated on them or they believe the did. You forget that jail is waiting for you once you're done and because you don't want to be jailed you chose the other way out which is killing yourself.

Isn't that what he did? Chris thought of his own mistake. It was his fault that they're forced into the marriage but he refused to believe that. He believed what he himself wanted to believe and that was him being wronged by Maya. And that is what he believed and wanted revenge for. But she, she taught him an important lesson.

a lesson that he would forever remember. a lesson that everyone should emulate for there own peace of mind. There was Leonel, the guy who chose to be by her side from the start and would have chosen him as a lover but she didn't. She chose the rotten apple like him. She gave him the pride of every woman in the world few hours ago.

What had he ever done to deserve it? He tried to remember any good thing he had ever done but her got none. The only answer that he could come up with was that God is a God of second chances. Yes, he had given him second chance with Maya. His Maya. She had become his few hours ago as he had become hers. That's what had happed and he was happy. Happy that he got a second chance with her.

Happy that she didn't chose to leave him. Chris felt her move in his arms and he was sure that she was waking up. She had slept like a log when they had finished their love making section which made him wonder how she could have done that. As for him, he hadn't slept a wink and if he did, he can't remember since he just kept thinking. Thinking of his life and hers. Them together. Forever.

Chris continued with his act and she stirred again in his arms. He wasn't going to lie cause the more she stirred and groaned, the more excited he got.

"I know you're up kitten." He whispered in her ears as he sucked her lobe. "I can hear you're heavy breathing."

this time Maya moaned and that made him a rock if that was even possible. He couldn't help but groan in her ears again. Maya tried to pull away from his wet kisses but Chris wasn't ready to let that happen. He wanted to be more and more intoxicated by her scent. When she fought him and managed to sleep on her back he took that opportunity to be on top of her.

The position alone had him remembering a few hours ago. Chris had warned her but she didn't listen. She chose not to and now he was having a hard time. He was never like that. Not even with Kimberly. He did love her but not the in a way that he loved Maya. To him with Kimberly one round was always enough for him. He never went for another round or cuddle up with and if he did that was when Kimberly complained.

But with Maya, everything came natural. He didn't need to do anything to be perfect in her eyes. In fact he was always clumsy since they exchanged I love you. Maya seemed to love it so he wasn't going to change that for anything in the world. Not even for his music.
