Taeking Off On The Runway Chapter 28

A/N: Please forgive me but this is a REALLY long chapter.

The next morning Jimin and Jungkook woke up with some nervousness. Today they were meeting Taehyung at the venue for the fashion show. There they would be fitted for the suits they would be modeling during the show. They would also get a crash course in runway modeling. They've performed on stages before but usually singing or dancing...not modeling. So, the fear wasn't being on the stage it was what they were doing on the stage that made them nervous. They just hoped they wouldn't disappoint Tae.

"So Baby, you ready for this?" Jungkook asks.

Jimin is making sure he has done a full skin care regimen. He doesn't want any flaws. He was so nervous that he had Jungkook shave him out of fear of nicking his delicate skin. Jungkook did an amazing job and if anything could be said about Jimin's skin it was that is was absolutely flawless. Not a blemish to be seen. The same for Jungkook...flawless. Since they would be wearing fashions by Tae they arrived in relaxed clothing...ripped jeans, T-shirts, jackets, and Jimin wore a snapback and Jungkook wore a bucket hat.

"No, I'm not really ready but I'm as ready as I'll get." Jimin responded.

"Well do you want to grab a bite to eat?" Jungkook asked.

"I don't want anything heavy. I'm too nervous. Did I see a Starbucks across the street?" Jimin asks.

Jungkook looks out the window and down to the street. "Yeah, there is one. Do you wanna just grab some coffees and a pastry?"

"That sounds good." Jimin puts the finishing touches on and they head out the door. The plan is to grab the coffees and then grab a taxi to the venue.

At Starbucks Jimin orders a Caramel Macchiatto and Jungkook orders a Hibiscus-Berry Infused Tea and they both grab cheese danishes, eating them as they walk out the door and hail a taxi. Once they arrive at the venue they are ushered in by one of the show coordinators. She's a plain looking woman whose name is WanSu. She could be really gorgeous, hot even, but she doesn't wear make-up and pulls her long black hear back into a long pony tail and she wears heavy large frame glasses that do nothing to improve her looks. She pulls both Jimin and Jungkook into a room and explains to them what will be happening during the day.

"Okay, hi gentlemen. I'm WanSu the show coordinator. I will tell you what you will be doing and when you will be doing it. If you have questions about your clothing, your make-up, or your training you can ask me." Jimin and Jungkook sit quietly listening to her intently while drinking their coffee and tea. "Now, first up is the fittings for the suits you will model. I will take you over to the seamstresses and you will try on the suits while they measure for alterations. Once all the suits have been tried on then we will move over to the person who will teach you how we want you to present yourselves on the runway. Tae has a theme for the show called "Tae-king Off". For you two, the background set will appear as if you are executives getting ready to fly somewhere. So there is a little acting you will have to be doing. No dialog, it's just all body language. You'll have a few hours to rehearse the walks then you will head over to photography to have your photos taken in the suits. The goal is to get you ready to walk by the end of the night tonight. Is this clear?" She ends her lecture.

"Yes, I think I understand? You get that?" Jungkook says.

"Yep, I've got it." Jimin says and takes a sip of coffee.

"Okay, now which one is Jimin and which one of you is Jungkook?" She asks. Jimin lifts his hand when he hears his name and Jungkook says "Here" when she says his name. "Great! Okay lets head over to alterations." They get up and follow WanSu.
