Dear Richie,
I don't want to do this anymore, it hurts too much, wherever I go, however I think, everything leads back to you, and I can't handle it anymore, because when I go to school every morning, I except to see you and your goofy smile waiting for me at my locker, or you and your cigarettes by the parking lot, but I don't. Because your gone, forever and it hurts. It hurts so much.
I've decided I don't want to live anymore,
I can't live in a world without you in it.
Like we said, we're each other's happiness...or we were. My happiness is gone, how do I live?
I can't keep on pretending and just move on.
I'll see you soon Richie.
Love, Eds
Eddie put that letter in his drawer, along with all the other letters addressed to the dead boy.
The small boy went to his bathroom, waited for his bathtub to fill up, grabbed a bottle of pills and sat in the cold water after it was done filling up.
Eddie dumped a handful of pills onto his palm and took a deep breath.
"I'll see you soon Rich..." He whispered to himself.
Eddie shoved the pills into his mouth and swallowed.
His eyes became droopy after a while, he felt sleepy.
"Richie..." He whispered before everything went dark.

Eddie found himself in a pitch black room.
"Eds?" He heard Richie call. Eddie's heart dropped as he turned around and saw his best friend, Richie Tozier, standing there with one of his signature grins.
"Richie!" Eddie's eyes filled with tears.
"Hiya Eds! How ya been?" He smiled.
"Is i-it really you?" Eddie asked. Richie grinned again and nodded.
"Oh god, I missed you so much!" Eddie ran to Richie and hugged him tightly, his head on his chest. Eddie heard no heartbeat.
"I missed you too Eds, I miss you everyday..." He whispered, ruffling the boy's hair.
"I do too.." Eddie sniffed.
"Listen Eds. I need you to do something for me."
"What is it?" Eddie asked.
"Can you wake up for me? Please."
"B-but...you'll be g-gone if I wake up.."
"We had a long run, but things happen for a reason. And I know you blame it on you, my death, it wasn't your fault though. It was just time for me to go."
"But you left too soon.." Tears streamed down Eddie's face.
"Hey...shh, don't cry. You gotta wake up Eds. They need you, you have a whole life to live. Don't waste it crying over me. I'll always be with you." Richie kissed Eddie's forehead.
Eddie sniffed.
"I love you." Richie whispered.
"I love you t-too."
"Now, wake up."
Eddie clung onto Richie tighter, not wanting to leave him.
"Wake up..." He whispered, starting to fade away.
"Richie?!" Eddie looked up, trying to grasp the boy's arms, but they faded into thin air.
"Richie! Don't leave me!"
"Bye Eds." Richie flashed Eddie one more grin before he finally disappeared.
"Richie! No..." Eddie sank to the ground, crying in the pitch black room.
Losing someone hurts. But losing them twice? It hurts a hundred times worse.
