Mama's eyes widen as she read what the shirt "Kelsey Nicole!"

Mama Becky looks at B "Brantley Keith!"

I smile innocently at her as I look at daddy and Keith "you guys haven't opened yours yet"

Daddy looks at me "Judging by your mama's reaction I'm not sure what to expect here" As daddy opens the bag Mama looks at me "are you sure?"

I grin at her "yes mama, completely 100 percent positive" she breaks out in a grin as Mama Becky looks between us "oh it's about time"

Mama looks between Kase and I "it's about time one of you gave us some grandbabies"

Daddy smiles at us "congratulations" then he gives B a look "just remember son I have a very extensive gun collection"

"Daddy!" B kisses me on the head "it's okay Kels" then he nods at daddy "yes Sir"

Mama Becky steers the conversation now "so what all do you know about the baby so far?"

I smile at her "Nothing yet... I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday to see how things are going"

Mama gives me a look "You be sure to call and tell me everything after your appointment"

I nod at my mama "My appointment is at 9:30 Tuesday morning so Mama how about we do lunch? and I'll tell you how it went"

She nods "sounds good to me" I smile at Mama Becky "why don't you join us"

Mama B gives me a smile "of course sweetheart I'd love to" 

"Okay then it's set"

Mama B gives me a look "Now I want to know how my son took the news"

I give B an innocent look before grinning at Mama Becky "well, I'll say this it's a good thing we were sitting down.... thought for sure he was gonna pass out on me with how pale he got for a minute" 

Pretty much everybody except for B laughs at that, he gives me a look "Woman you took me by surprise, not what I was expecting at all but---" he trails off leaning down and pecking me on the lips "it was a good surprise" 

A little while later Kase, Marilyn and I are out on the front porch having already said our goodbyes Keith and Ko are headed back to Alabama and B is inside, daddy wanted to have a word with him before we headed out. 

Marilyn smiles "my god I wasn't expecting your mysterious boyfriend to be Brantley Gilbert but you guys are adorable together"

Kase laughs "you say that now but when you've seen them together as much as I have it stops being adorable and it's more sickening"

I grin at my sister "Awh Kase, no need to be jealous, I can hook you up, got a few single friends" 

She rolls her eyes "yeah that never seems to work out when you set me up with people"

We all three laugh "wait so how long have you guys been together?"

I can't help but smile thinking back at all the memories that I get hit with at her question "almost three months, but we have a long history that stretches all the way back to high school, this isn't the first time we've dated"

"hmmm" she looks at Kase "first love?"

Kase nods "oh yeah first everything"

Marilyn looks back at me with a smile "well not a lot of people get a second chance at their first love, guess your one of the lucky ones there Kels" 

I can't help but smile "yeah, I guess I am pretty lucky"

B walks out a minute later "Ready to go Kels?"

I give him a nod "yeah B, let's go home"

He wraps an arm around me pulling me into his side as we walk towards the truck "Bye guys" I call out to Kase and Marilyn, they both wave "Bye sis" "bye Kels" 

B once again helps me up into the truck and we are headed home.... I like the sound of that home, doesn't matter where we are as long as I'm with B, I am home. He has always been my safe place, where I could go and know nothing could hurt me.

Well, here we are they didn't take it badly, wanting those grandbabies XD.
