Chapter Twenty-Two

I jerk awake damn I haven't had that dream in years. I turn over and try to go back to sleep but it looks like that's not going to happen.

I quietly slip out of my bunk and walk towards the lounge where I see a little stream of light so one of the boys must still be up... Probably B.

I walk into the lounge to see B with a guitar beside him and his songbook open. I gently sit down beside him "what time is it B?" 

He chuckles and checks his phone "2:30... You should be sleeping"

I shrug "I couldn't go back to sleep... I had the dream again B...... First time I've had it in years and I couldn't go back to sleep"

He closes his book and pulls me over onto his lap "come here, baby..... We will figure this out okay? I won't stop until I know that you feel safe again... If it is him, baby, I will handle it and he won't bother you again"

He adjusts us to where I am laying against his chest on the couch "try and get some rest okay? I'm gonna be right here when you get up" 

I smile up at him "thanks B" I can't help but drift off again to the sound of him quietly singing to me, that is one sure way to get me to fall asleep and that is B singing to me, especially if I'm tired.

 L A U R E N

I quietly slip out of the bunk to wake Thomas up you know so I can pee. Once I finish my business, I peek into Kelsey's bunk fully intending to wake her up so I'm not the only one up right now only to see that she isn't there.

That's when I notice the light in the lounge, so I decide to see if Kels is in there. I walk into the lounge and I see Kelsey and BG both sleeping on the couch.

They are both wrapped up in each other... Awwww that is cute I gotta take a picture of this and send it to Lina, so I creep back towards the bunks and I gently grab my phone and creep back out into the lounge and I snap a few pictures of the two lovebirds wrapped around each other.

Completely adorable those two. I check the time to see that it's 6:30 am hmm might as well stay up there is no way I am getting back in that tiny ass bunk without waking my husband up.

I decide to go ahead and send those pictures to Lina and she can see them when she wakes up. She is going to love that and I can tell that Kels will too.

I wake up again but this time with B's arms wrapped around me holding me against his chest. I can't help but smile, knowing that he will always be there to make me feel better.

I as gently as I can so I don't disturb him I wiggle my way out of his arms, I get free and I notice Lauren sitting in one of the chairs on her phone with a grin stretched across her face.

I chuckle quietly "what did you do Laur?"

She grins looking up "nothing just snapped a few pictures of you and BG and sent them to Caroline, who is gushing at how cute the two of you look all peaceful and wrapped around each other, I'll send them to you too"

I roll my eyes, shaking my head "thanks Laur" then I make my way towards the bathroom on the bus. Once I finish, I shower and change into a pair of daises knowing good and well that they are a weakness for B and a Bottoms Up tank top, of course, I gotta rep that merch, it may be March but this is Alabama and it gets hot even in March.

I walk back into the lounge and Laur laughs "Damn Kels, gonna give the man a heart attack" 

I smirk at her "oh Laur I know the reaction I am going for"
