So this is a poem that I actually made into two different poems, but they still have the same words. If they have two different meanings to you, that's great! If it has the same meaning that's great too! I just kinda wanted to make a deeper meaning to it than just making it easy and plain. POEM 1
"The eyes are like windows to the soul."
You keep it in...
Don't let it show.
Put yourself on lockdown
Trying to ignore what they say
You see the normal you, fading away.
"It's just poking fun!" "They say."
You know it's not true.
Keeping endless tears at bay
You cry yourself to sleep
Torturous memories
Painful thoughts on repeat.
"It doesn't really matter."
Your feelings are destroyed.
Just end it or get used to it
You don't know why you want to continue
You don't know why you choose the light
When you could just bleed, and end the painful sight.
