lane has always been "the other man" in relationships and has had enough, but does he have enough confidence to love again without falling apart?

//INFLUENCE// this is a short story inspired by the album a.m. by the arctic monkeys. each song inspired a chapter. even though i had listened to the album probably thousands of times before, i wanted the meaning of the song to truly be seen within the chapter. i incorporated song lyrics into each chapter (in italics). i encourage you to listen to the songs, as they not only are amazing, but relate to the chapter. this was a real challenge as a writer, i wanted my short story to not only be influenced by the music but be able to stand on its own. i hope you enjoy. and i hope to do another short story with another album. (comment any albums i should turn into a story)
