Chap.8

Friday.

Hayden's Pov

I was in a deep slumber until I felt someone shaking me.

"Wake up! we have to go soon!!!" I heard Kate's voice yelling.

Who let her in?

"What are you doing here? and what time is it?"i groggily asked rubbing my eyes.

"It's 11 in the morning and we have to go now!" she whined dragging my sheets off me.

"Why?"

"Because there is a huge sale in downtown LA at la femme." She continued dragging me out of bed. "and the shop opens at 10 am to 5 pm now get up!"

"Fine, fine I'm up! jeez." I said getting out of bed and stretching.

"Oh and your mom let me in." she added.

"I'm gonna go take a shower."

"Ok but only 5 minutes! There is gonna be a lot of people trying to find dresses now come on!"

"Ok, I at least take 10 minutes." I said walking into my bathroom.

"Whatever just hurry up!" she rushed and close the bathroom door.

"Why didn't we do this like a week before instead of the day before prom!" i yelled on the other side of the door.

"Because it's more fun and they put out lots of beautiful dresses a day before prom!" she yelled back.

I groaned and undressed my self and taking a step into the steaming hot shower.

"Just let me eat something!" I frowned while Kate was dragging me out the door.

"No we'll grab something to eat on our way there!" she shouted and shoved me into the car hitting my head on the way in.

"Ouch!" I winced.

"Sorry!" she apologized and got In the car as well, starting up the engine.

"Wait! Hayden you forgot your phone!" my mom shouted running outside still in her pj's.

I rolled the window down and collected the phone out of her hands.

"Thanks!"

"No problem and stay with Kate at all times. Don't go anywhere with anyone and remember to call me if something happens!" she said wrapping herself in her robe. "and most importantly buy what ever dress you feel like."she smiled.

"Thanks mom."

"Bye guys. Have fun!"

"Bye Lora!" Kate smiled before speeding out.

Wow she's really eager to get to that shop.

Remember when Kate said 'we'll get something to eat on the way here'? yea it never happened and I'm starving.

"Wow this place is huge!" I gaped and looked around.

"And it's crowded! so come on!" Kate said pulling me around the store full of girls!

I also see some from school, but I don't talk to them.

I looked at the price on one of the dresses and widened my eyes.

"This place is expensive." I said looking around

"I'm gonna find the perfect dress and I'm not gonna look at the price tag." Kate grinned looking through racks. "you should try it too! Your mom gave you her debit card and said buy what ever you like and don't worry about the money. So try it!"
