Chap.16

Harry's Pov

I woke up to loud obnoxious singing and I literally want to rip my ears off.

"I'mmmmmmm gonnnaaaaa swinnnnnggg frommmmm the chandelier, from the chandelier. I'm gonna live like tomorrow doesn't exist
Like it doesn't exist
I'm gonna fly like a bird through the night, feel my tears as they dry
I'm gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelier" I hear Hayden yelling from downstairs.

I groaned and got up, going down the stairs to see Hayden singing from the karaoke machine.

"Shut up!" I yelled throwing the cushion pillow at her.

She gasped but replaced it with a smile before shutting off the tv.

"Well that worked." she smirked walking over to me.

"What worked?" I asked, confused.

"It's 1pm and you weren't up yet so I decided to try something new and it worked." she explained.

"Your so annoying!" I groaned running a hand over my face.

"Your annoying."

"God not this again!" I walked away and went to the kitchen grabbing a granola bar.

I came back out to see Hayden staring at me.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"How old are you?"

"What?"

"How old are you? Like what year were you born?" She asked looking at me strangely.

"I'm 18."

"So your like done with high school?"

"Yup. I was done when I was 16." I answered munching on my granola bar.

"You dropped out?"

"No. Back home high school is done at gr.11"

"Oh wow. I get it now."

I nodded and it of course was awkward again.

All of a sudden there was a ringing noise and Hayden and I both looked at the small screen on the wall.

It had Mom and Dad printed out on it so Hayden went over and answered it right away.

"Mom?"

"Hey Baby."

"Hi, why didn't you call yesterday?"

"Honey, I'm busy and-"

"I know your busy." she sighed."hey mom, what's that on your face?" Hayden asked getting my attention.

If you look really closely, you could see a small scar on her left cheek.

"It's nothing sweetheart."

"Mom don't you dare Lie to me. Don't you think it's been enough."

Lora sighed before looking away. "I got in a fight." She said quietly.

"With who?"

"With somebody Hayden I have To go now. I'll call you later. Love you, bye." she said quickly before hanging up.

Hayden sighed before looking at me..

"Why does everyone keep lying to me? It's like I have this sign written all over me saying 'Please lie to me.'"

"Maybe they just do it to protect you." I shrugged looking at her.

"Bull shit" she groaned before walking up the stairs, I'm guessing to her bedroom.
