She looked up at her husband before holding his hand.

"We're not your biological parents." Lora whispered.

Hayden's pov

How is this even happening?

Lots of thoughts and questions were running through my head right now I can't even form a proper sentence.

I looked around at my surroundings not knowing exactly what to say in a situation like this.

I can't believe they kept this from me for 17 years! No wonder my mom-Lora was so protective over me.

I looked at Ben to see that he had a shocked expression while Harry is leaning on the wall and looked at me very carefully.

I don't know but I just feel like running right now. From everything!

I let out a shaky breath. "uh- I don't know what to s-say." I hesitated and slipped my hand from Lora's hold.

She frowned at the loss of contact.

"Your kinda taking this easier than I imagined." My adopted father said slowly.

"Oh yeah, and what exactly did you imagine?"

"Well that you would run and say you never want to speak to us again." he answered.

"I should be doing that right now. I can't believe you guys kept such a secret like this from me?!" I can feel the tears start to prickle in the corner of my eyes. "Who are you guys?"

"We're your parents. We may not be your biological parents but we are still your parents." Lora cried.

I couldn't form any words right now. there are so many emotions runny through me right now.

I don't even know what to do or say or anything!

"I wanna go for a walk." I stood up." I'm going for a walk." I said walking but was blocked by Harry.

"Harry move."I muttered.

"Honey. Now is not the time to go for a walk. we have to talk and it's dangerous outside knowing whoever is looking for you found you." Lora stood up.

"Well maybe I don't want to talk! I don't wanna be near any of you!" i yelled.

I looked over at Ben to see worry all of his face.

Honestly I just want to feel Ben's arm around me right now and him telling me everything's gonna be okay.

I walked over to him and he immediately wrapped his arm around me, pulling me into a hug.

I buried my head into his chest letting a few tears slip out.

I can hear Lora and Jack saying something in the background.

"Hayden sweetie." Lora's soft voice quietly said. "we knew that this day would come and that whoever is trying to find you is closer."

I looked over at her and she continued.

"There is a safe place your supposed to go to. It's kinda like a safe haven. You will stay there on till everything is cleared."

"No! I'm not going anywhere!" I held onto Ben's arm tighter.
