Secrets and lies

Ch.13

Jacob's pov
"HOW THE FUCK DO YOU LOSE THEM?!" I yelled at my stupid sister.

I can't believe they got away!
I show up at prom looking around to find her but I see know one until I got a call from my sister saying she saw her get in the car with two boys. Her exact words were "two hot boys!" anyways she followed them but lost them.

"They were fast and taking sharp turns! it was hard!" She defended herself.

I groaned pacing the floor.

"Don't you think it's time to stop?we've been doing this for years and every time someone dies!" Lucy sighed running a hand through her hair.

"No! they killed our parents-

"HER PARENTS ARE DEAD TOO! what's the point?" she cut me off.

"Lora and Jack are her adopted parents and they were in on it too so they have to pay!"

She sighed and went back into the car.

I got in and started the car up before driving away.

"What if we loose each other?" Lucy's soft voice asked. "We have know one to help us anymore. All of them are dead. That family is strong what if something happens to us."

I looked straight ahead and sighed. "Don't worry. Nothing's gonna happen to us."

Harry's Pov
I looked over at Hayden and she's sleeping.

Finally! that girl asked way too many questions. I don't blame her though, I mean her whole life was filled with secrets and lies. I would do the same.

I looked out the window and we're here. we're basically in the middle of know where with a house just in the middle.

I got out and went over to Hayden's side and carrying her to the door.
I took out the key jack gave me and opened the door.

I took a minute to look around after turning on the lights.
It's kinda like a cabin with wood styling and all.

I brought Hayden upstairs which I'm guessing is where the bedrooms are.
I opened the one door and it ws the bathroom.

I walked to the one across from it and found a bedroom.
I laid her on the bed carefully taking off her jacket and her heels and wrapping a blanket over her.

I walked out and explored the house before going to get our stuff from the car.

After putting Hayden's stuff in her room, I looked around and found the other room across from Hayden's.
I settle my things in there and took off my tie.

Hayden's POV

I woke up to the sound of singing.
I looked around me, at my surroundings.

Where the hell am I?

I saw my things lying on the floor beside the door.

I got up and opened the door looking to see a hallway leading to stairs.

I walked out and shivered a bit at the cool air. I could feel goosebumps arriving on my skin.

As I walked down the stairs, memories of last night came flashing back and all I want to do right now is sit in the corner and cry.

I honestly can't believe I was adopted. I should've known.

Every movie I watched with my mom it had something to do with adoption she always wanted to switch the channel or go do something else.

All those times when she was so overprotective of me.

I sighed and continued my journey out the room.

This place looks cozy looking and filled with security cameras and locks.
