I need to get away, the crowd, it's too much, I can't, I just need some air.

Momo dashed out of the area, she just couldn't take it anymore. The people, the noise, the questions, everything! It was overwhelming.
She made her way to a tiny bridge that overlooked a pond, grateful that her father picked a pretty location.

Looks like no one's here, thank the lord. I just need some peace, even for a little while.

She gazed at the water shimmering in the moonlight, the faint chirping of crickets was almost like a melody and the delicate lilies that were daintily spread across the pond just tied the scenery perfectly.

She let out a breath she wasn't aware of holding and sighed contentedly as she continued to take in the scenery.
Suddenly she heard someone approaching almost as if the person was running and then her eyes met with dual colored ones.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'll leave now." She hastily said as she made her way to leave.
"It's fine," He said, "I'll go. I just had to take a breather from the..."
"Crowd." She completed.
He nodded.
She sighed "It can get pretty..."
"Exhausting," He continued, "Yeah, I can relate to that."
She chuckled softly.
A soft breeze blew as a small and awkward silence settled.

"You can stay here if you want, it's much more peaceful, don't worry, I'm not going to attack you with questions." She smiled, slightly glancing at his scar.
"Silence is nice." He said.
The two of them then switched their gaze back to the pond, enjoying the now comfortable silence that settled between them, almost like an unspoken bond, a bond of understanding.

Shouto glanced at his watch. People would be searching for them now.
Them.
He didn't mean to run into this mystery girl but she wanted to get away from the crowd as well, she also didn't pester him with a million questions.
She was just there, leaning on the railing, deep in thought. It was peaceful, something the party wasn't.
"Hey, I think we should leave now," He said, breaking her away from her train of thought, "They'll probably be searching for us so yeah."
She nodded.

The two of them silently walked towards the hall, the noise getting louder and louder as they neared their location.
"It was nice meeting you-uh...?"
"Shouto Todoroki."
"It was nice meeting you Shouto Todoroki, thanks for understanding." She said, her onyx eyes meeting his mismatched ones.

What does she mean by 'understanding'?

"You too-uh...?"
"It's Momo, Momo Yaoyorozu." She smiled brightly, extending her hand.
He shook it, a slight chill running up his spine as their fingers brushed against each other.

She then made her way inside, disappearing with the crowd, leaving a very puzzled Shouto who cannot seem to understand why he was a bit disheartened at the departure of someone he had just met.
