Chapter 5

It's been one month since Momo got into UA and besides Shouto, Momo believed that she had made a couple of friends. There was her roommate Kyouka Jirou and Kyouka's good friend Denki Kaminari, both from the music course. She also knew everyone in her class, there names that is. She only really had conversation with a couple of people, such as Mina Ashido, who could practically talk to anyone, Ochako Uraraka, bubbly personality and fiery determination, Asui Tsuyu, very honest but also very thoughtful, Tenya Iida, responsible and organized, Eijirou Kirishima, very friendly and open and Izuku Midoriya, awkward but smart and kind.

This is good, I'm getting better at communicating with others and these people are really nice.

Momo sat down at her desk, as she took out her books she saw the blond haired boy, Katsuki Bakugo going about his usual yelling and also realized the loud chatter in the classroom along with Iida trying to calm the class.

And they can be loud too.

~Time skip~

"Hey Yaomomo!!!" The pink haired girl brightly approached Momo.
"Hello Mina." Momo politely replied.
"Soooo, I was thinking, since I'm getting to know everyone a bit, how about I invite our class for coffee. We could talk more, get to know each other better, it's gonna be AWESOME!!!" She was speaking fast and with plenty of energy, "Obviously you're invited so will you be coming?"
She looked at Momo with pleading eyes.

Everyone in class will be there, I'm not necessarily close to everyone there, I mean, I guess except for...

"Sure, I would love to come."
"Great! I'll give out the details in the group chat."

Did I just agree to that?!

A class get together? Do I really have to go? I mean I barely know anyone there except...

And before Shouto knew it he sent a confirmation text.

Why did I just do that?!

~Time skip~

Shouto approached the coffee shop.

Isn't this the same place that I met...

"Hello Todoroki!" Momo greeted friendlily.
"Hey." He replied.

Recently the two of them had created quite the bond, he was a bit more comfortable around her and they were now able to start conversations pretty easily.

"This was the same shop where we ordered our vanilla lattes wasn't it?" He asked her as the two of them walked towards the shop.

"It sure was," She happily says, "Also, don't you find the name pretty unique."

Shouto looked at the name board,
"Peaches." He pauses, "That is an interesting name."

As the two of them entered, Shouto noticed the interior, it was something different.
"Don't you think the interior is lovely, I guess I didn't notice it that much the other day because I was sort of in a rush but now that I look at it, it's beautiful." Momo says in wonder as she continues to scan the shop.
"More than beautiful, it's different." Shouto says as he spots the table in which his class was gathered.

The two of them approached the table, everyone else was already seated.
"Finally! The two of you came, I was beginning to think that you wouldn't show up." Mina exclaimed.

Well I was late because I was debating on whether to actually come to this thing or not, why did I even come here again?

Shouto took a seat besides Momo.

Well, maybe it's because she's here.

"Why don't you order something, here's the menu." Ejirou handed it to them.
It was a simple menu, the basic drinks at first but then the specials came rolling around.

"Cherry blossom tea, rose latte, snapdragon mocha, peony pie, tulip tart, lavender cheesecake, hibiscus popsicle, hydrangea cupcake..." Momo muttered under her breath as she continued to read the menu.

The interior, it's floral, so that's why the menu is like this, I guess this shop is based on floral inspiration.

Momo was rather delighted by this. She admired the design and creativity put into this place.

Once the two of them placed their order, Shouto whispered to her,
"Well that explains the interior."
She smiled and replied,
"You must have been excited with the cherry blossom tea, I mean I don't have that flavor in my collection and now there's hibiscus popsicles as well, today's your lucky day Shouto Todoroki." She said now grinning.
"Whatever." He chuckled and then the both of them broke into a smile.

As she looked around, she noticed that the place had a bit of traditional styled interior as well, the entrance had a modern ring to it with flowers such as roses and peonies, it then flowed into flowers such as cherry blossoms and lilies where the interior changed into a traditional one.
This place had a beautiful mix of old and new, making it timeless.

As there drinks and snacks were bought, Momo noticed the tea cups, they looked familiar.

Come to think of it, this entire style looks familiar.

The table was soon filled with conversation, Momo got to know a bit of everyone and though she didn't talk much she didn't feel uncomfortable.

I'm able to talk better in front of them, I'm not panicking.

The atmosphere as a whole comforted Momo. The playful conversation of her classmates, the mixed aroma of coffee, spices and well, flowers, the clinking of porcelain and the odd sense of familiarity gave Momo a satisfying yet confusing feeling of nostalgia.

This is pleasant.

~The next day~

"Okay, so today will be a partnership assignment, as you will be working with a partner, you will have to submit your work in exactly one week. As this is your first partner assignment you get to choose your partner, however in the future you I will be assigning you to one, the information of the project will be e-mailed to you, that is all." Mr.Aizawa then zipped himself up in his sleeping bag.

Shouto looked to his left, Momo was the only one he was familiar with so,

"So your my partner right?"

Smooth Shouto, real smooth.

"Yes, yes I'am."

She accepted, it would have been really awkward if she didn't.

"So can we meet up at Peaches tomorrow?" She asks, her eyes lighting up.
"You really like that place don't you?" He chuckles, "Sure, let's go."
