Chapter 28

"Oh my god Momo! I'm so sorry for all you had to go through!"
"It must have been really hard for you!"
"I'm so sorry we thought that way of you."

These were just some of the many comments that Momo received the past month.

Why?

Well, because Touya cleared her name, owned up for his mistake and earned a few years in prison for this, and so did Shigaraki.

Tomura Shigaraki originally named Tenko Shimura had supposed plans to foil All Might Industries by murdering the founder, Yagi Toshinori. However, his plans were foiled because Touya exposed it to the authorities.

Enji Todoroki also confessed to the relevant sources on his wrong doings but through the power of money and influence, the authorities were willing to hide it from the public in order to save the Endeavor corporation.

Since prison wasn't exactly an option in this case, Enji had to make up for his deeds by doing favors for the authorities.

The Momo Yaoyorozu case was officially cleared.

Things were slowly getting better for Momo and the Todoroki family.

Now, there was just one more thing that she had to get done.
And that was fixing the misunderstandings in her family.

"I'm really nervous Momo." Sora mumbled.

"It's going to be fine Sora, we'll fix this mess once and for all." Momo reassured him as they slowly approached the Yaoyorozu mansion.

Hopefully, everything works out

Momo hesitantly walked in, followed by Shouto, Sora and Kazuma.

"It will be fine." Shouto whispered as he gently held her hand.

Momo's heart skipped a beat.

Though the two have been dating for a little over a month now, she still couldn't get used to these little displays of affection.

She gave him a small, flustered smile and squeezed his hand.

As they entered the grand hall the sight of Mr. and Mrs.Yaoyorozu sitting on their sofas greeted them.

"Good evening mother, father." Momo quickly chirped.

The parents gave an incoherent reply.

"Take a seat please." Momo gestured to the rest of the three, to which they silently obeyed.

"So, this is Kazuma Kazehaya, aunt Ume's husb-"

"I'm well aware of who he is Momo." Mr.Yaoyorozu interrupted.

"Dear, let her finish." Mrs. Yaoyorozu looked at her husband quickly.

"What is the purpose behind this meeting? If it's for money then I'm sorry but I cannot help. I have nothing to offer and I'm not willing to accept anything either." Mr. Yaoyorozu harshly stated.

"Mr.Yaoyorozu, I can assure you that this has nothing to do with money, I just feel like there are a few misunderstandings that need to be cleared." Kazuma slowly tried to reason.

"My sister left this family because of you, that's all I need to know, there's no going about it." Mr. Yaoyorozu growled.

"If you could just hear me out-" Kazuma tried again.

"That is enough!" Mr. Yaoyorozu almost shouted.

"Kaito!" Mrs. Yaoyorozu looked at her husband directly in the eyes,  "Calm down, let the man speak, hear him out, you don't have to do it for his sake, at least do it for Momo." She spoke firmly.
