A Gym Love Story (Completed)

26 - Family Time

I am so glad that the charity gala went over smoothly and we raise quite an amount for our sick kids. Then again I am very happy that the Victoria Secret fashion show is also behind us now and we can get back to the hospital to where Lola is admitted. Bella is sitting with her while she's asleep.

Joe is a saint for putting up with me and Lola after all the media drama earlier this week. I can see that my husband is really tired. I've called Dolce and Gabanna when we got back to the hospital to let them know I am still coming over after Lola is being released from the hospital. They understood and agreed to meet with me  once I'm in Milan.

While we were at home earlier to change out of our fancy clothes I packed us two bags, one for Lola and one for Joe and me. We got to the hospital and Nico is here to be with Bella. He flew all the way out to be with her. They want us to go with them to Vegas so they can get married. Joe and I talked and told them I first have to fly out to Italy then when I'm back we can all go out that way.

They agreed to it. So for the next couple of days, we lived between the hospital, gym, and home. We never left Lola alone for more than two to three hours at a time and always have either Joe or myself at her bedside. Two weeks we lived like this when the doctor one morning early deemed her fit and well enough to go home. With our little girl back to her old self again we all flew out to Italy. We walked in at the Niello hotel here in Milan and was shown into the penthouse suite.

It was late here in Italy when we landed and took a shower and went to bed after a, half an hour in the hotel's gym running on the treadmill. I got back to our room and Joe was already in bed and he gave Lola a bath. He is a real-life superhero dad. I just look at him where he was on his phone busy with emails when he looked up and saw me looking at him.

'What?' He asked, placing his phone on the bedside table.

'You're a real-life superhero or in other words super daddy.'

'I am?' He smiled as I walked over to him.

'Yes, you're like "Thor" and I'm like "Thor's" girlfriend.' I let him know.

'Hey, your not "Natalie Portman", you're like "Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel" combined to Lola and me.' He countered.

'Really I am?' I smiled.

'Oh, yeah but only 100 times sexier.' He pulled me into his arms and cage me in as we kissed. After some serious making out we pulled away and I could finally go and shower. I climb into bed after my shower and I'm wearing what Joe bought me for our anniversary this year. Joe's holding me to him as we fell asleep. Five AM, when I got up to go to the bathroom and got back. I am so glad my morning sickness passed quickly. So I might be pregnant with twins but my hormones are back to normal again. 

I walk back out and check in on Lola and she was awake. I picked her up slowly so not to shake her too much so that she won't be sick again. She just got better after she was so sick. So I got into my gym gear and put Lola in her stroller and we head on out to the gym before we have to set out to Dolce and Gabanna's HQ. Andrew is with Lola and me. I got busy on the treadmill and I ran for half an hour and then hit the machines for another forty minutes. I worked out so hard I was dripping in sweat. Yes, it is yucky but I feel so good right now that I have so much energy that I can run all over Milan right now like "the flash" in that TV series. 

After my though workout we head back up to the suite where I got in a shower and after my shower, I got Lola taken care of and dressed her for the day. I ordered Joe and me some breakfast to be delivered to our suite. I was busy working on my laptop when our breakfast arrived and I go and wake Joe up with his mug of coffee I ordered. I whiff it under his nose. Nico called Joe and he was in an all-out panic when he told us Bella has gone into labor about an hour ago and they are at the hospital. I can't believe my little sister is going to be a mother in a few hours. Joe calmed Nico and talked some sense into him.
