                       Nalia's POV
I've never felt an attraction so strong towards a guy before. This is all very new to me.

The accent? Check.

Deep baritone voice? Check.

Adonis looking face? Check.

Or is the way he looks at me like I'm his everything? Check.

It's official, I'm drawn to that unbelievable gorgeous man.

Granny says she's rooting for us
slow your roll woman, we just met less than 24 hours ago.

When I got home as I was about to climb up the stairs then Mother called me to come into the family room that she and Father wanted to talk to me.

'What do they want now?' I said groaning inwardly.

I nodded following her, she sat next to Father, I looked to my right and saw Diamond smirking at me and I just remained standing.

"Nalia darling, please have a seat," Mother says in a sickly nice tone.

'Interesting let me hear what they have to say' I thought to myself observing each of their body language and facial expressions.

I sat down and Father handed me a big yellow file that I didn't notice when I walked in.

I hesitatingly took it from his hands and opened it and the words on it hit me like Bam written in Bold was an 'Emancipation Release'

My face broke into a big grin like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.

"Mom, why is she smiling like that? Isn't she supposed to be crying because she's getting disowned" Diamond's squeaky voice cried out.

"You people thought I was going to beg for you to keep me as your daughter?"
Their eyes widen in surprise to see me speaking to them after 4 years.

'Oh thank God, I've been looking forward to this' I let out a loud boisterous laughter.

"Mom, Dad did she just talk?" Diamonds asked her parents that just ignored her.

"Nalia why are you unfazed and calm by this?" Mother asked me.

"Why Talia? I'm heard both she and Diamond gasped loudly.

"Since, you're not my Mother anymore so I better address you properly" The reaction on their faces was quite hilarious.

"Ernesto where do I sign, since I already see you guys signed already" Father just sat in bemusement.

"Right there, bitch" Diamond pointed out.

"And by the way, you don't get anything from us because all the inheritance goes to me in the future. So leave here with the trash you own, have fun been homeless and broke" Diamond let out a fake laugh and I just chuckled signing.

"Diamond let me tell you this, if money is where you find all your joy and happiness you'll always be poor and I never wanted anything from you people" She clenched her fist in anger and I shrugged.

I place the file back on the table
"Now that it's done, I'll take my leave. It was good knowing you all, have a nice life" I started walking away then I turned over my shoulder.

"And Diamond live a proper life spoiled brats like yourself are the ones that enjoy handouts" I went up to my now old bedroom and dragged out my already packed suitcases from under the bed and all my electronics inside a duffle bag.

I walked downstairs to see Diamond marching up to me with her fists ready to throw a punch.

"Oh honey, I wouldn't do that if I were you because I might just murder you, wouldn't it be tragic for your parents to lose another daughter," I said menacingly sending her a fake smile.

"Adios, see you around or maybe never" I left the house after handing my keys to Talia's opened hand.

I went next door to Granny's house and she was making dinner and I have to say I arrived just in time.

"Granny I'm free from them" Her back was facing me so I ran up and hugged the life out of her.

Granny looks at me in confusion "What do you mean child?" She holds my face in her hands.

"I signed the Emancipation Release my so-called parents gave me with their signatures on it" I smiled at her.

Granny smiles at me "Oh thank God, you are finally going to be my daughter now" She pulls me into a tight hug restricting me from breathing.

"C-Can't breath G-Granny" I manage to speak.

Granny might be small but she's a mighty one.

"Sorry child, let's have dinner and later on watch Crouching Tiger." She pulls me to a seat on the dining table.

Dinner was delicious and the rest of the night was wonderful with me cuddling into Granny.
