Nalia's POV I swear it's taking everything in me not to go off on these two sorry asses.
They came to the company fussing to my secretary that they needed to see their Daughter.
For fuck sake I have no longer have any relation with these people!
Flashback...
I went into my office and called my assistant to let them come in.
"Good Morning, darling" Talia tried walking around my desk to hug me.
Before she got close I evaded it.
"Excuse me, what do you think you're doing? This is supposed to be a professional general meeting" I spoke harshly making Talia's smile fade.
"Now that we got that out of the way please have a seat" I indicated to the two seats in front of my desk.
They looked at me before taking a seat.
"Nalia you know your sister Diamond misses you everyday" I raised a questioning eyebrow as Talia continues.
"and she wants to spend all the lost times we didn't share with you" The urge to laugh in their faces was so strong, but I decided against it and still had my normal resting bitch face on staring blankly at them.
"Ummm is that so? Well, tell Diamond I thank her for missing me" Note the sarcasm.
"Nalia I'm not going to beat around the bush, when are you going to pay the money to provide my company with?" Ernesto directly not avoiding eye contact.
"That's funny, because I don't remember signing my name up to be to be a charity or an investor for your company" I told Ernesto our eye contact not faltering.
"We are your family Nalia and you need to stop being an ungrateful brat and help your Father with his company which is on the brink of destruction" Talia sneered she knows better that her 'intimidation' won't work on me.
I bursted out laughing with tears in the corners of my eyes.
Then my whole demeanor switch immediately from playful to total seriousness.
"I did my part of helping but it seems like the cheque I sent wasn't big enough for you to do something with" I said tilting my head to the right side.
"Well how do you expect us to use that little amount of money to bring back the company" Ernesto yells angrily slamming his hand on my desk.
"Ernesto why don't you do us all a favor and plead guilty for the fraud. Illegal slush funds, and embezzlement because we all know you're not exactly a saint" I gave him a sickly sweet smile that said 'I know all your secrets.'
"How dare you! I am your Fath—" before he could complete his sentence I interrupted his blubbering self.
"Good morning baby" I saw the love of my life standing at the door smiling at me with his arms folded his muscles were bulging out, making the white v neck shirt he had on look tight on him. Yummy.
Talia and Ernesto turned around to see who I was just talking to and turned back to me
"Really Nalia, you got with a thug? Talia turns back around giving Elijah a once over looking at him with disgust etched on her face.
He walks into the office and stood behind my chair before speaking up.
"Aye no disrespect ma'am but I would appreciate if you keep the irrelevant words to yourself. It would be greatly appreciated" My baby snapped at Talia and that seemed to shut her up.
"As I was saying Nalia, I am your father and I have as much right to own this company as you do because you're my blood" I had a slight smirk on my face. I swear Ernesto has a few screws loose in his brainless head.
"Well father, you're smart enough to know it doesn't work like that legally andmay I remind you, about the Emancipation Release. I don't bear your last name anymore. So, I have absolutely no relation with you people except for unfortunately, sharing the same DNA" They were both completely speechless looking away from my eyes.
I continued "And I know about the little trap you planned, it might have worked but you're not getting any penny from me. Please excuse yourselves the door is right over there" Talia scoffed in disbelief and Ernesto got up from the chair fixing his suit.
"Your mother's right Nalia, this gangster is nothing but trouble. Keep him away before he ruins your life," Ernesto jeered at Elijah and I looked to the side with my baby's hand clenching and unclenching.
"Listen sir, you may be her father but I wouldn't hesitate to destroy you and it won't be physically because I'm better than that. Just know that I am coming for you" I knew my baby would be the bigger person. I grabbed his arm rubbing it to ease the anger.
"Get out and never step foot into my company or the security will dragging you out and I know how much you want to preserve your saintly images" I said with the fakest smile I could muster up.
They walked out slamming the door in the process almost causing the flower vase to fall.
I got up from my seat, held Ezra's face to me and kissing him with as much love I could gather up into one kiss.
He lifted me up on the desk got between my legs still while kissing.
Elijah pulls back minutes later and he looked into my eyes and he seemed nervous.
"Lia darling I have to tell you something and promise me you won't freak out?" I nod my head in agreement.
"My parents came to the States this morning unexpectedly and they wish to meet you" To say I wasn't shocked at the sudden reveal would be an understatement.
