Chap. 22 (Restaurant and beyond)

QWYNN POV

We've been here for about half an hour and everything has been going alright. Jayson has been washing Ekon weirdly and Keyon has been ogling at my step daughter who seems to like it. 

The waitress brought our foods and we begun to eat. Everyone was so busy on their phone so I said "Can we put away the phones and enjoy the night as a family?" 

Everyone putted their phones away happily as if that's what they truly wanted to do. 

"What now?" Abayomi ask.

"How were the adults day out?" Lyryc brought up a topic.

"Well it was amazing. We went to an all-adult hotel, we drank-except for your mom, we partied and we-" Ar'jana came to a stop when mom gave her an evil look.

"We went skydiving!" I said.

"For real?!" Bryn ask surprisingly.

"I always wanted to go skydiving," Chrys said.

We went quiet again until Jayson say "So...you're Qwynn's husband?"

He grabbed my wrist and showed him our similar rings with huge diamonds, "Yeah pretty much! Why'd you ask?"

"Well Qwynn and I grew up together. We knew each other since 2nd grade," he said.

"Wow! What a big deal?!" Ekon said sarcastically.

I started choking due to the spice.

"Lemme get you some water," Jayson say quickly getting up. 

"Naw! I got it. Here baby," Ekon said as he handed me a glass of water and kissed my cheek. He also started rubbing my belly and saying "Daddy's baby doesn't like spice, I see." I almost choked on the water when he said that. Ekon can be VERY possessive and jealous sometimes and it's a bit annoying.

Jayson was playing with Nevaeh and she scream-laughing. She's literally on his lap because he has beef and she LOVES beef. I could see Ekon was getting pissed at the fact that Jayson was playing with his kid. "What's going on with Ekon and Jayson?" Joseph whispered in my ear.

"They're trippin," I say.

"Hey grandma!" Bryn called out to my mom who was on her phone.

"Yes B?"

"Why do you hate my mommy?" she asked shocking everyone on the table.

"I-I don't hate your mom," she says.

"Yes you do," Bryn added while putting the straw in her mouth. Bryn is a child he speaks her mind no matter the circumstances.

Ekon pinched her lips and say "Ssssshhh!" 

"Seriously. Why do you hate my mom?" Lyryc added.

My mom angrily got up and left. "Let's go Victor!" she says.

My dad got up like her little slave. 

"Wow! Night ruined!" Abayomi's wife said.

LYRYC POV

I was sleeping and suddenly felt the urge to pee. I got up and used the bathroom. As I was walking back to my room I saw Chrys in the kitchen drinking milk.

"Hey. Why you up so early? It's midnight," I whisper in a sleepy manner.

"I couldn't sleep so I was thinking," he said.

"What's on your mind?" I ask.

"The fact that I'm gonna be a dad in a couple of months," he said.

"Trust me. You'll do fine. I know you will," I assure him.

"What if it doesn't like me. What if it hates me?" he says.

"Chrys, the baby isn't gonna hate you. I'm confident. Change topic! What gender do you want?" I say as I sit next to him and let him rest his head on my shoulder.

"To be honest I want a girl and her name should be  Alexandrite. Which is one of the most expensive gems in the entire world," he said smiling.

"Well Alexandrite it is but I'm giving her her middle name," I added.

The next thing I knew was that Chrys grabbed my head and pulled me closer to him before kissing me. 

"I knew it!" I hear Yeena say. She had suspect that we were together but I denied it. Both me and Chrys giggled. "Guys, I can't sleep. Monopoly?" She asked holding up the box.

"Sure," Chrys said.
