School starts in exactly 11 days. It's August 1st. I always hate the first days. Landon also hates first days. Especially when it's a new school. Mom is back home safe and sound which is a blessing. I have plans for today that may be crazy. "Hey family!" I say all happy and smiley. "I'm going to go in to town and I'm going to hang with the humans today!" I say expecting a no. "Oh alright!" My mom says and my dads jaw drops. "Uh no! You're not going anywhere Hope!" Dad says and I grind my teeth trying to smile. "Dad I will be okay. I'm 17 years old." I say and he shakes his head. "Plus not to mention that I'm a tribrid." I said putting my hands on my hips. He smiles and shakes his head. "You're just like me." He says and I smile. "She's not a murder!" My mom says and I laugh. "Well I did activate the curse so I think I am." I said and my mom shakes her head. Landon comes down the stairs practically running. "Wait! I want to come!" He says and I give him a weird look. "Why were you running?" I asked and he shrugs. "I thought you were already gone." He says out of breath. "Humans." My dad scoffs turning around and walking off to his room. "He's not a human Dad!" I yell to him and we all here him laugh. "Also there is a back to school dance tonight even though we haven't been to school yet. They do one every year." I say and mom nods. Cami comes down from her and Dad's room smiling. "School dances are actually good for a teen to go to because it makes them get out more and have human interaction. Or supernatural interaction for you Hope." She says smiling and I laugh. Landon and I walk out the door. Once we get into town "No using magic. No showing who you really are." I say mostly to myself and Landon nods. "Yes team other are in the house!" Landon says and I shake my head. "Are you excited for the dance tonight?" I ask and he nods. "Definitely. Remember the first time we danced together?" He asked and I nod. "Yeah right after my mom died and right before my dad died. It was a dance to remember. You got my mind off of it." I say and he smiles. "Whoa Landon dude where have you been?" A jock looking guy comes over and looks at me. "We missed messing with you." The guy says pushing Landon. I clench my fists while thinking of how I could stop this guys heart with one snap. "Yeah haha." Landon says gaining his balance. "Oh Kirby! You're back?! How's the foster kid." Another guy comes up and shoved him again. My eyes widen and I practically make my hands bleed by clenching my fists so hard. "You're a loser." One guy says pushing him harder. I start breathing faster. "You should have just let us beat you up a long time ago so your hot girlfriend wouldn't have to see it." One guy says as he punches Landon in the face. Landon doesn't do anything but fall on the ground. I'm shaking now. They continue to punch him. I feel my eyes burn. "Whoa what's wrong with your eyes?" One guy says and everyone else ignores him. "STOP IT!" I scream and all the boys drop to the ground holding there heads. They all scream in pain while I let it all out. I'm still screaming when Landon gets up and practically tackles me. Once I stop screaming they all start breathing and stop holding their heads. "Call Marcel!" I say pushing Landon off of me. I walk over to all five boys and I go off on them. "Don't you ever hurt Landon again!" I say grinding my teeth and they all laugh. One of them stands up and his eyes spark and his teeth turn into fangs. "You're wolf?" I say and he smirks at me. "Yeah and what you're a little witch? Come at me little witch bitch!" I laugh and smirk at him. "You don't know what you're getting into by saying that Ossox!" I say raising my hands and turning them. He falls to the ground screaming. My eyes spark and fangs come and he gasps. "What are you?!" He says out of breath. "The tribrid." I say turning my hands again and he screams in pain. "Are all of you wolves?" I ask and they nod with a scared look on their face. "What school do you go too?" I ask and he tries to get up from the ground and I push him back down. "Mystic Fall high school!" He screams and Landon snickers. Then Marcel shows up with my entire family. "Landon! I said Marcel!" I yell at him and he backs up with his hands up. "Don't hurt me. I called Marcel! They came with him!" He says with widen eyes. "Let him up!" Dad says and the boys straighten up real quick. "Klaus Mikaelson?!" They say backing up. "Yes. I suppose that's me." Dad says laughing. "And these kids that you're messing with are mine so I would back off." Dad says and Mom looks at Landon. "Landon! That's why my face started hurting!" She says and shakes her head. She touches his face and he winces which makes her wince. "Damnit Hope!" They both say and I shake my head. "Would you like The Hollow to rise from the dead?" I say shrugging and rolling my eyes. "Compel them to forget." I say and the boys all widen their eyes. "Hope! No they need to go to the Salvatore School!" Cami shakes her head and pulls Klaus away from them. "Fine I'll call Dr. Saltzman." I say walking away. "What the hell?! She's a tribrid? She's a wolf, witch, and what else?" I over here the one boy ask.
