So first day of school at a real school. Landon has gone to this school before so he knows most of the people. I on the other hand have no idea who anyone is other than Landon. Once Landon and I walk in it's like everything moves in slow motion. "We are not supernatural." Landon says and I laugh. "I got this." I say and he smiles. "We are all more worried about you. I don't have anger issues. I'm not bipolar." He says and I grab my heart. "Wow. Landon. Thanks." I say and he laughs. "Sorry baby." He says and I instantly forgive him. "This is scary." He says and I roll my eyes. "You think this is scary? You live in a house full of vampires, witches, hybrids, and a tribrid." I say and he laughs. "Yeah I understand that. But these people really make you lose all your dignity." He says as the cheer comes up to us. "Hi Landon!" They all laugh and smile. "Hi girls." He waves shyly and I stand there with my arms crossed. "Hi girls!" I say waving in their faces. They look at me with a disgusted look. "We were talking to Landon." One blonde says. I laugh thinking of Lizzie. "You remind me so much of my friend Lizzie." I say and she smiles. "Awe is she super sweet and pretty?" She asks and I laugh. "You got the pretty right. But she's a bitch." I say smirking. Landon rolls his eyes and the girl gasps. "Landon you need to help your friend girl." The red hair girl says. "Girlfriend." Landon says and I smile. "What?" They all say in a shocked voice. "Why her she's gross!" The blonde says. "Watch it." I say getting closer to her. She quite taller than me but she doesn't scare me. "Or what?" She says and I clench my fists. The lights start to flicker and Landon grabs my shoulders pulling me back. "Hope!" He says and I shake my head. "She started it!" I say and he shakes his head. "Hope! It doesn't matter who starts it. We all know you can finish it!" He says and I nod. "I know she was just really getting on my nerves! Plus you're mine!" I say and he laughs. "They weren't crushing on me trust me. They put me in a locker last year." He says and my eyes widen. "What the hell! Landon! I'm going to rip their hea—." Landon puts his hand over my mouth when I realize I was being a little too loud. Everyone is now looking at me. "Why are you looking! Take a picture it will last longer!" I say and everyone turns away from me. "Hope come on! You're being unreasonable!" Landon says and I look at him like he just told me my grandmother threw up all over me. "Excuse me?!" I say and he shakes his head while holding his head. "You seriously don't know how to be a normal human." He says and I shrug. "Yes I do! Watch!" I say tapping on one of the cheerleaders shoulders. "Omg I just love those heels!" I say and she squeals. "I know!! They are so gorgeous!!" Another girl says. They take me by the hands and drag me into the restroom. "What's your name?" One girl asks and I smile. "Hope!" I say and they smile. "That's so cute! I'm Brianna! That's Jordan, Ashlyn, Jesy, and well you know Dana." She says and I look at the girl I almost killed out there. I smile at her and she does the same to me. "I think this headband would look so cute on you! So would this lip gloss! Oh and your hair should go like this!" All of the girls changed my appearance a little. I look at myself and try to keep myself from laughing at the cat ear headband on my head. "Omg!! You should sit with us at lunch! You can bring your little boyfriend too!" Brianna says and I smile. "Okay. Sounds good. Uh I think I should got to class." I say and they all run out of the bathroom holding my hands while screaming. I fake laugh, pretending that I don't completely hate this. When they finally let go of me and walk away Landon is wide eyed. "Wow." He says touching my new headband. "Yeah. I got a seat at lunch!" I say in a gross school girl voice. "Oh good. They have changed you. I want my mean girlfriend back." He says as I laugh. "I am not mean." I say as we walk to class. My dad was nice enough to put us in all of the same classes so we aren't alone. I know it's going to be hard to learn while he's in the room though. Once I walk in everyone turns their head to me. I quickly take off the headband and throw it in the trash. Landon smiles at me as I give him a "I'm really freaking out here" look but he clearly doesn't understand my looks. "Hope Mikaelson." The young teacher says. "Yes that's me." I nod at him. He smiles and waves to me. I find a seat in the back so I don't have to sit next to anyone odd. "And Landon Kirbby?" I hear him ask as Landon nods. "Oh yeah I had you last year huh?" The teacher asks Landon. Landon smiles and nods. "Yeah Mr. Cowan. You had me last year." He says and Mr. Cowan nods. "I thought so." He says and Landon sits down at the desk next to me. Once the bell rings Mr. Cowan stands up and smiles. "Good morning class!" He practically screams. I roll my eyes and hold my head. How long do I have to do here? "How is everyone doing?!" He speaks at the same volume. "Nothing? Really? Come one guys! ITS MONDAY!" He says almost getting on his knees and shaking his hands in the air. "I'm about to put a death spell on him if he doesn't shut his mouth." I say as quiet as I can. "What was that Miss Mikaelson?" Cowan asks and I mentally kill my self. "Nothing." I say with a resting bitch face. "Oookkaaayyy. Someone didn't have her Starbucks this morning." He says and I turn my head in anger. "Excuse me?" I say sitting up in my desk. "Hope come on stop." He whispers and I hold my finger up to silence him. "Basic girl basic bitch." He says and I laugh. "Hahaha you're so funny." I say imaging my hand around his neck. "It's just a joke Hope learn to live a little." He says and I clench my fists. "You learn to live a little." I mumble and he doesn't hear me. "Scivuklare!" I whisper so no one can hear me. Once I say it Mr. Cowan slips and falls. The whole class gasps and starts laughing. Except for Landon and Mr. Cowan. "Hope!" Landon says and I roll my eyes. "What?" I ask and Landon shakes his head. "You're no fun." I say and he rolls his eyes. "Well go have fun with Eli then." He says and I turn my head. "Landon." I say in a whiny voice. He puts his finger up to silence me and I almost rip his finger off. I decide that would be kind of out of hand.

Landon hasn't talked much to me since first hour and I'm getting kind of annoyed. I honestly don't even know what first hour is. I'll have to make sure to pay attention later. I just really don't like Mr. Cowan. He's odd. He's suspicious! He makes me uncomfortable. Ew I want to go back to the Salvatore School. I really hate saying this but I miss Lizzie. I shiver at the thought then laugh. It's like she knows when I'm thinking about her. She sends me a text.
Lizzie: Hey Hope. I hope you haven't killed anyone yet!
Me: Oh trust me I'm trying my best. Dana and I had a fight this morning.
Lizzie: EW DANA! I NEVER WANT TO HEAR ABOUT HER AGAIN!
Me: Trust me, me neither. They are making me sit by them at lunch though.
Lizzie: No freaking way! Dad is here freaking out not knowing what to do because you're not here!
Me: Oml. Tell him to take a chill pill.
Lizzie: Gtg class is starting.
Me: Same. Bye!
Once I put my phone down I look up and Landon isn't next to me anymore. I look all around the lunch room and can't find him. I'm starting to get a little panicked. What if someone took off with him? What if he's getting hurt. "Hey Faith are you okay?" I hear Dana say and I ignore her. I know she's talking to me because no one is named Faith in her group. I look around more and still can't find him. I stand up and then someone taps on my shoulder. "Hey calm down I'm right here." He says and I take a deep breath. "You scared the shit out of me! Don't do that again!" I say and he laughs. "What don't go get food?" He asks and I laugh. "No don't leave without telling me!" I say pushing him. "How long have you guys been together?" She asks and I smile at the thought. "Almost two months." Feeling like it's been way more. "Really only two month?" Landon says reading my mind. "How much longer can I take of you?" He says as I roll my eyes. "I'm kidding I love you." He says and the affection he gives me in front of all these girls makes my heart flutter. I've never had to fight for Landon's attention, but here I feel like I need too. He drives me insane. "I love you." Kissing him on the lips. "Ew take that somewhere else!" Dana says and I turn to her. "You know what Dana!" I say grabbing her food from her tray. "Shove it!" I say smearing the slop all over her face and shirt. Her friends gasp super loud like they can't breathe. "Oh. My. God!" Dana yells getting up from her chair. Everyone turns to look at us and starts laughing. "You're going to pay for this Mikaelson! You will pay for this!" She says rushing off with three of her friends. Brianna stays behind. She looks at me with wide eyes then giggles. "Oh my god! Did you see her face!" She says and I bust out laughing too. "Oh yeah I did! I can't believe I just did that!" I say and Landon looks at me with even wider eyes. Then he starts smiling. "Whoa. She was mad." Landon says looking at Brianna. "If you weren't going to do it I was!" Brianna says and I laugh. "Wait I thought liked her?" I ask and she nods. "I do! That doesn't mean I don't want to kill her all the time though!" She says laughing as she throws her head back. I laugh even more than remember her face. I give myself a pat on the back for not getting super mad and using magic. I'm actually really happy for myself. Landon should be proud of me too! I think I should literally call everyone right now! Wait til Lizzie hears about this! Ugh "I can't wait to see her" I think in my head and then laugh. I can't believe I just said that. I'm so odd. I look at Landon and he hugs me. "I'm proud." He whispers in my ear and I know what he's talking about. "Thank you. I didn't even think of magic!" I whisper back and he kisses me on the cheek. "She has the nerve to tell me to take it somewhere else when she wanted me to sit with her!" I say and Brianna laughs just as loud as I do. Everyone around the lunch room is talking and laughing about Dana. She deserves it and I don't feel too bad. Everyone will forget about it soon. Today wasn't so bad I guess. I still hate Cowan though. But I guess he got what he deserved too. Rule number one: No using magic at school.
