"I don't want to talk to you," I say turning around as I wonder where Lizzie and Josie are.

"I'm sorry for what I did to you!" He says catching up to me. I shake my head as I hug my arms around myself.

"Landon, leave me alone," I say in a warning whisper.

"Hope, come on... just talk to me." He says grabbing my shoulder.

"I said leave me alone!" I yell as Landon falls and is flown across the ground by me.

"Hope!" I hear Josie say. I turn around to look at her as I breathe heavily.

"Okay, I deserved that," Landon says as he dusts off his pants and gets up.

"Landon, I think it's best if you just go on home," Josie says as she walks forward to meet me.

"I just wanted to-" Landon starts to say but is soon cut off.

"No. Just go home," Josie says with her fists clenched.

"Josie, mind your own business," Landon says and I look up at him.

"What... did... you... just say?" I say as I step a little closer to him.

"I just want her to go away. I just want to talk." Landon says and my eyes light up.

"Go to hell," I say as Landon's arm catches on fire. I jump back in fear. I look at his burning arm then turn around to see Josie holding her hand up towards Landon. She siphoned magic from the ground.

"I said go home, Landon," Josie says as she watches his arm burn. I take a deep breath and look between the two people I have had feelings for.

"What are you doing?! Are you crazy?!" Landon screams as he shakes his burning arm.

"Sutas incenda!." I say as Landon's arm is extinguished. I look at Josie and she looks at me with a warning nod.

"You almost just burned me alive," Landon says as Josie rolls her eyes.

"You're a dark phoenix, Landon. You know how to protect yourself." Josie says and Landon dusts off his burnt jacket. I look away from the jacket he would always let me wear.

"Fine. I'm leaving. I thought we could just talk. Like adults." Landon says and my blood boils.

"We can never just talk, Landon. Not anymore. Every time I'm going to see you, I'm going to want to rip your limbs from your body, piece by piece." I say as my eyes go yellow once again.

"Hope? Josie? Come on." Lizzie says clearly eavesdropping on the conversation and trying to save us from a mess. What she doesn't know is that it's already a huge mess. Josie caught him on fire. She is definitely a pyromaniac. That makes me smile to think about.

"Keep that in mind," I say as I turn around and lock arms with Josie as we catch up with Lizzie.

"Isa and I got into another fight," Josie says as she tightens her arm around mine.

"About what?" I ask to look at her with wide eyes.

"You." She says with a heavy breath.

"What about me?" I ask and she shakes her head.

"She thinks I still have feelings for you. But she doesn't even know the whole story of you and I. So I don't think she should have a say. Because I love Isa. But..." Josie trails off looking down at me. I look up at her and nod.

"But what?" I ask and she looks away.

"But you're finally here. You're here and single. You're happier and even a little stronger." Jo says and I nod.
