Josie's POV:

I look around as everyone begins to realize their supernatural abilities have vanished into thin air.

"Guys, stay calm. We just need to stay calm. Everyone needs to stay silent. I know there are a lot of us right now. And we are all useless." Eli says and I look up at him with scared eyes.

"What are we going to do now?" Baylee asks and wraps her arms around herself.

"Baylee, hey... It's going to be okay." I say smiling and she shakes her head.

"Josie, just shut up already!" Rosa says and I frown. Without her witchiness, she's still bitchy.

"Rosa takes a walk," Lizzie says as she walks over to me. I shake my head a little as Lizzie looks to me.

"Sorry, she was being rude. Speak up for yourself so I don't have too." Lizzie says and I sigh.

"MG you doing okay?" I ask walking over to him. He nods a little and looks around.

"It definitely feels odd. But normal. I spent most of my life this way. So going back to it isn't so hard. But emotions are flooding in." He says and my eyes widen.

"Did you have the switch off?" I ask and he shrugs.

"I'm not sure. I think I just blocked out things I didn't want to feel. Now I feel them." MG says as he takes in a shaky breath.

"Oh MG," I whisper and give him a hug.

"It's kinda like all my anger is gone. Which is weird. My hormones aren't raging. I don't want to rip every vampire head off. I feel good." Rafael says and I nod.

"You feel normal," I say and he nods. Everyone here feels a change. Everyone seems different. Even Rosa seems different. But for me? I feel exactly the same. I don't know what this means. I don't know what it means for the others. The vampires were once human and now they are experiencing it again. The wolves were once normal and now they get to know what it's like again. But for me? I've never known what it's felt like to be normal. Rosa wasn't shown how to use her magic until she was 8. So she knew kind of how it was like to be magic free. Now she's getting to experience it again. But for me? I've been used for magic since I was in the womb. Same with Lizzie. Lizzie!

"Do you feel any different?" I ask and she shakes her head.

"No." She says shrugging.

I look around the room and then close my eyes. I take a deep breath in and out.

"I can feel a source of energy," I say and Lizzie frowns.

"What?" Eli says and I walk over to the wall.

"The walls. The floors. The ceiling. Everything in here. I can feel the... magic." I say and everyone looks at each other like they have never heard the word magic before.

"All of our powers are gone." A wolf named Millie says and I shake my head.

"I don't think mine is," I say looking at Lizzie and she frowns.

"Jo..." Lizzie says and I touch the wall. A light red glow lights up around my hand that's touching the wall as I siphon the energy from the wall. Everyone watches in awe.

"I told you. I always trust my instinct." I say and Lizzie smiles.

"Lizzie and I are your only hopes, in Saving Hope," I say and Eli nods.

"This is gonna be dangerous," Eli says and I nod.

"Freya do you copy," Eli says as he explains the entire situation to Freya.
