As I stare up at the ceiling for the four days of not going to school. Four days since Landon broke my heart.  I hear a tapping on my window. I go to look out of it and see rocks being thrown at my window. I open my window and look out of it.

"Eli?" I ask and he smiles up at me.

"Hey, I thought you could use some company." He says with a smirk on his face and I nod.

"Always," I say as he jumps up to my window which is on the third floor might I add. Landon and I's rooms were to the only two rooms up here. Along with the bathroom between us. I feel a stab in my heat and I gulp.

"Hey..." Eli says rubbing my arm.

"You're okay. Come here." He says taking my small body into his arms.

"You could have come through the front door. No one is home." I say and he frowns.

"Everyone works?" He asks and I nod.

"Everyone finally got jobs. My mom works with the pack by training the younger wolves in New Orleans everyday. My dad works with the Mystic Falls cops. Elijah is a doctor. Kol and Davina are coming up with new medicines and herbs for sick patients. But they never tell anyone what's in them. But we all know that there is vampire blood in some of them. Rebekah is a clothing designer. Freya is a teacher now at the Salvatore School along with Cami. Keelin is a doctor along with a soldier. Marcel pretty much just helps Rebekah out." I say and Eli nods.

"You have a whole pack in your house." He says and I nod.

"Yeah, I do. Rosa and Isa go to school with me which you know." I say and he smiles.

"Are they like your siblings?" He asks and I nod.

"Definitely. Rosa is just like an annoying little sister. That never goes away. But when she does you get really sad. Isa is too smart for her own good. She's so beautiful. I was so happy to have cousins that were 'twins'." I say and he smiles.

"Yeah. Different moms same dad. Born on the same day. Same year. Same month. Same time. That's odd." He says and I smile.

"I swear it's magic," I say and he laughs.

"Definitely." He says as runs his fingers over all of my art things and books.

"You're an art nerd huh?" He asks and I roll my eyes.

"I'm not a nerd. But yes I love art. So does my father." I say and he nods.

"So does Ansel." He says and I nod.

"He didn't seem to like me so much," I say and he laughs.

"He likes you. He just has to get used to you. That's all." He says and I shake my head in disbelief.

"No one likes a Mikaelson," I say shaking my leg a little and he smiles.

"A lot of people like Mikaelson's. Look at how many people fell in love with one." He says and my mind goes straight to Landon. Of course. He sees my face and his smile drops.

"Shit, sorry! I didn't mean him!" He says and I smile.

"It's okay. It's been four days. I need to get over it." I say and he shakes his head.

"No you don't. Take your time." He says and I look up at him.

"How do you do this?" I ask and he frowns at me.

"Do what?" He asks pressing his lips into a thin line.

"How are you not being selfish? Why are you not being selfish? Why aren't you making a move? I'm single! I have no boyfriend! I dumped him! I'm sad! I'm vulnerable! Why not just make a move!" I almost yell and his eyes widen.
