Homecoming. One of my not so favorite times. This is not like any other homecoming. Every school of Mystic Falls gets together and has a big dance. We are kinda a small town. Which means no supernatural powers. Never done on a full moon. Always has a lot of adults to watch. It's gonna be great. As I walk down to the living room the Saltzman Twins are here with Caroline. "Hey guys?" I say and they smile. They have a huge box and my Dad is smiling big. "This was very nice of your mother and you girls." Dad says looking at the three girls and I shake my head. "We think Hope deserves to wear it at least once. Since it did come from her father." Lizzie says smiling at me. Josie doesn't seem to happy about it. They open the box and Caroline holds the dress up. It's a beautiful blue dress with different shades of blues. With beautiful gems on it. I take a step forward and smile. "What are you guys going to wear?" I ask smiling not able to take my eyes off the dress. "Different dresses. We have both gotten to wear this dress many times." Lizzie says and Josie stands there with her arms crossed. I nod and take the dress. Dad kisses my forehead and I kiss his cheek. "It's a beautiful dress Dad. Perfect for the one you love." I say looking at Caroline. "Yes that's why I have it to Caroline. I intended to be her last..." Lizzie, Josie, and I cut him off. "Her last love. We know!" We all say smiling. Caroline and Dad laugh. "I will always love you Caroline." Dad says and she nods. "I know." She says smiling and looking down. "But I will also always love Camille." He says and Caroline nods her head. "Is there any damn blood in this house?!" Cami comes yelling down the stairs. "Hello?! Oh oh. Caroline. Hey! Sorry I'm hungry." Cami says and I laugh "No, yeah I totally get it." Caroline says and Dad stands there awkwardly. "It's in the basement in the deep freeze as always love!" Dad says smiling at her. She pouts and I giggle at her. "The basement is scary!" She says and I bust out laughing. "You think nothing would scare a vampire. You can eat scary things." I say and Cami laughs. "You're funny. Oh my goodness that's beautiful!" Cami says looking at the dress. "That's what I said." I say looking at it. "Are you wearing it? It will look beautiful on you with your red hair!" She says smiling. I nod and smile. "Yeah I'm just borrowing it for a minute." I say and Cami kisses my forehead. "You're gonna look great babe." She says walking to the basement. "Well we should go get these two girls ready. I'm guessing Rosa and Isa are getting ready?" Caroline says and I nod. "Always." I say and Landon comes out of his room in his underwear. "Landon!" I say and he looks down at me. "What?" He says walking down the stairs. "Pants?" I say and he looks down then shrugs. I shake my head laughing. "Teen boys." Dad says and smiles. "I actually like having a teen boy around for once." He says and I laugh. "We have three girls. Then one girl likes girls. So then we have even more girls over and then friends and ugh it's too much." Dad says and we all laugh. We say our goodbyes and they leave. "Hey Hope?" Dad says turning the faucet to the sink on so water is running and I look up at him. "Hmm?" I say and he smiles. "Do you like Camille?" He asks and I smile. "I love her. She's great Dad!" I say and try to walk off. "Wait! How would you feel if I asked her to marry me?" He says and I smile really big. "Really?!" I say and he nods. "Dad that would be great! I'll be the flower girl!" I say laughing he smiles and hugs me.

Homecoming is always on a Saturday so everyone has time to get ready. I'm in my room when Mom comes in. "Hey baby." She says sitting on my bed. "Hey mom." I say looking in the mirror at my makeup. "Is Landon matching is suit to the dress?" She asks and I nod. Then Isa and Rosa walk in. Isa is in a long black flowy, showy, flashy, amazing dress. Rosa is in a long red elegant tight and flowy dress that is lace and goes great with her eyes. "Put on your dress!!" The Twins say and I laugh. "Okay! Okay!" I slip on the dress and have Mom zip it up. I look in my body length mirror and smile. My mom tears up and I laugh. "Mom stop!"'I say pushing her a little. She laughs as she wipes her tears. I put on my heels which you can't see because my dress is long. They are just simple silver 2 inch heels. The twins are wearing huge heels which make my feet cry. Rosa is wearing red lipstick and Isa is wearing a dark brown lipstick. They both look beautiful. "Hope? Hope? Have you seen my tie? I can't find it I've been searching for it!" Landon comes in almost yelling with his suit jacket on and nothing but underwear! "Landon!" I say laughing almost falling over. He looks up at me smiling then drops his smile when he sees everyone. "Oh meeting in Hope's room. Wow okay. Just walking around in my undies once again." He says and we all laugh. Then he looks at me all the way. He smiles again and walks closer. I'm smiling shyly. "What is it?!" I ask getting nervous. "You! Look! BEAUTIFUL!" He screams and we all jump a little. Then he picks me up and swings me around and I laugh. "Okay okay! Put me down now! And put pants on!" I say pushing him off of me. He laughs and runs back to his room giggling like a little girl. "Wow." We all four say then end up laughing really loud. "DO NOT MAKE FUN OF ME!" Landon screams from the other and we all laugh quietly.
