We are going back on tour, which means back to Patrick and I pretending to be best friends.
Don't get me wrong, he is my best friend but he's also my boyfriend. The fans think we are dating but we don't want to go public yet.
We were best friends before the hiatus. During the hiatus we never talked. Then after the hiatus we started dating.
I was thinking of marrying Patrick but then the fans would find out.
"Hey Patty, um do you think we could tell the fans?" We were laying in bed. We are going on tour for our new album American Beauty/American Psycho in a week.
"I don't know Petey. Maybe. We've been dating for almost 3 years so I think it's time." I looked at him. He was playing with his hands. He doesn't do that unless he's nervous.
"Hey baby, we don't need to tell them yet." I grabbed his hand and he looked at me. I smiled at him and he smiled back.

"I love you too Patrick." We never use each other's first names unless it is serious or we are mad at each other.

So we decided on announcing our relationship at the first show. We asked Andy and Joe if they were okay with that and they were fine. They started dating sometime during the hiatus and the internet already knows about them.
"So before we sing are next song I just want to say something." I started. I looked at Patrick. He nodded. I turned back to face the crowd. "So I wrote this song about someone very important to me. And I wrote this before the hiatus. And he said to me the other day while listening to it that he thinks of me when he sings it. Then I turned and looked at him and I said," I turned in Patrick's direction, "'I love you Patrick', and Patrick looked at me and said 'Pete, you are so stupid.' And then I went to walk away and then he said, 'hey idiot' and I turned and looked at him and he said, 'I love you too', anyway this songs called What A Catch, Donnie."
Patrick looked at me and smiled and then started singing.

When we were done Patrick looked at me and then looked at the crowd. "So you all are probably wondering why Pete decided to tell that story and I will explain to you why, because I really do love Pete and I have for years but now it's a love that I never understood. Pete and I have been dating for sometime," the crowd screamed, "Okay okay-"
"Everyone be quiet ." I yelled into my mic. "Patrick continue."
"Thanks Pete, um anyway we both felt that it was right for us to tell you because you guys are the reason we are together so thanks to you guys. I love you guys. I love Joe and Andy for supporting me and Pete. And most importantly I love Pete for always being there when I need him to be. So hey idiot," Patrick turned to me and I turned to him, "I love you."
"I love you too." We smiled at each other and the crowd went wild and Joe and Andy were making out. "Okay anyway. Joe get back to where you need to be. If you know that next song sing it, it's called bang the doldrums."
