During the hiatus
In 2007 Pete and Patrick got married. Then in 2009 they got a divorce. The whole band agreed to take a hiatus. It's currently 2011. Patrick just released his solo album.
Patrick knows Pete probably heard about the album. He probably bought it. He most likely watched interviews to hear Patrick's voice.
Patrick's right. Pete sat home listening to the album. He would watch every interview of Patrick. He would do this crying.
Then he found out dates for tour. Would it be too much if he went. Would Patrick even want him there? He bought a ticket. He also bought a ticket so he could see him.
Patrick was looking through the list of people he will meet. He saw Pete's name and didn't know if he should be happy or sad. Pete was the last person he was meeting which meant a lot.
He performed the show. Pete and Patrick made eye contact a lot. Patrick made a speech about Pete because none of his fans knew Pete was there.
Then he had a meet and greet. He met great people. He got a question that made him think.
"You made a speech about Pete, does that mean you and Pete are going to get back together?"
He just answered with, "only time will tell."
"This is the last one." Yelled one of the security guards. Pete walked in. They made eye contact. Pete looked like he was going to cry.
"Come here Pete." Patrick held his arms out so Pete can give him a hug. Pete ran into his arms.
"I missed you so much." Pete said tears falling from his eyes.
"I missed you so much more."
"Impossible."
When they pulled back they looked into each other eyes.
"Am I allowed to kiss you?" Pete asked. Patrick smiled.
"Yes." Pete leaned forward. They both have been waiting to the kiss for years. They pulled back and stared into each other's eyes.
"Someone ask noticed me tonight here. They asked if me and you were getting back together." Pete said.
"I got the same question." They both smiled at each other.
"Do you think, maybe, we could try again?"
"Yes." Pete kissed Patrick again.
"Mr.Wentz you need to go, we need to get Patrick ready to leave for tomorrow's show." Pete pulled away.
"Stay with me." Pete thought for a second. There was nothing home he needed other than clothes, his phone charger, and laptop.
"I need to get my stuff from my house."
"We can do that. Hey Eric."
"Yes Mr.Stump."
"Pete's staying with us for he rest of tour. We need to stop at his house and get his stuff. I'll go with him you pack up my stuff."
"Yes sir." Patrick took Pete's hand and they walked to Pete's apartment. He still lives in he same house that Patrick and Pete did. Patrick got a lot of memories walking in. The place looked different but still the same.
Pete walked into his room to pack clothes. Patrick followed behind. Patrick noticed how different the room looked. The bed was in a different side of the room, there are no band posters up, the dresser is by the window. He felt weird standing in their. He can picture how to room looked before.
