An entry in Pete's diary:

Day one:
The feeling of sadness doesn't come from your brain it comes from your heart. Every time you feel some sort of sadness it's because you heart is hurting. You need to fix it. You need to make sure I doesn't hurt. It can't hurt anymore. You just have to leave it and go. Push it aside. Maybe leaving me on the side of the rode would hurt less. Not only would you be happy with the discovery you made but I would be even more heart broken. How do you fix a hurt heart. You take away what is hurting it. At the end of the day who is hurting you. Why are they hurting you. And how do you make them not hurt you. You could be happy or you could be hurt. So one really knows. Both can mean the same thing at times. It also may help you in the long run. It may help you find who you truly are.
