When I wake up, I walk out to my small balcony and lean against the rail. It's crazy to think that I've been here for a month already, yet I feel like it's becoming my home. Tyler and I have been dating for a month now, and today is Valentine's Day. Suspiciously, I haven't seen Tyler yet.
"Briannaaaaa!" Gwen comes skipping into my room.
"Gwennnnn?" I turn around, laughing."Breakfast is ready." I furrow my eyebrows.
"We rarely ever eat together." I say. Gwen smirks.
"Just come eat." She grabs my hand, yanking me out of my room and down the hall. When we're close to the kitchen, Gwen covers my eyes with her hands.
"Gwenie, what's going on?" I feel someone else grab hold of my hands, but I keep my eyes shut. The hands are soft and warm.
"Open your eyes." I hear Tyler say.A beautiful array of roses sit on the island, surrounded by pancakes, and several other delicious looking foods.
"Tyler!" I jump, wrapping my arms around his neck, and my legs around his torso.
"Woah woah woah!" He laughs, and places me down.
"Tyler, this is- amazing. Thank you." I kiss him on the cheek.
"You don't have to thank me," he quickly kisses me. "You deserve it."
"Ugh, I think I'm going to be sick."Jax walks in, with a disgusted look on his face.
"You're just jealous because you've never had a girlfriend before."
"Really?" I laugh.
"Shut up. I've dated lots of girls."
"Dating and slept with are two different things my friend." Jax rolls his eyes.
"I was with Ash-"
"You were never 'with' Ashley, she thought you were a thing, and got clingy so you 'broke up with her.'"
"I hate you." Jax playfully shoves Tyler, and leaves the kitchen."Sooo." I say, "what are we gonna do today?" Tyler shrugs.
"Whatever you want to, Princess." I hit him. "Ow."
"Don't call me princess." He sighs.
"Fine, but today, I'm treating you like one." He leans down to my ear, and whispers the plan."I need to change oh do I ever need to change." I mumble to myself as I dash back towards my room. Suddenly I stumble backwards, and realize that I've run into Gio.
"Hey Bri, want to do some training?"
"Sorry Gio, I'm going out with Tyler." He smirks, but something is hiding behind it.
"Ok. Just don't do anything I wouldn't do." And he leaves with a wink.I change from my comfortable pj's into a cute, yet functional outfit.
I choose my most stretchy jeans/ leggings, a tube top with buttons, and a cute athletic cover up. When I emerge from my room, Tyler is waiting right outside the door.
The day was filled with rock climbing, hiking, and Tyler took me horseback riding! I don't know how he knew that horses are my favourite, but I had a blast. When we get back to the house, we're smiling from ear to ear. But my smile fades as soon as I see Jax.
"Did you two have fun?" He looks up from his newspaper. Who even reads those anymore?
"Yes, we did." I smile at Tyler. "He treated me like a princess." Jax looks shocked.
"Oh, so he's going to marry you off to a French prince to strengthen America's alliance with France?" I roll my eyes.
"You're hilarious." He winks at me.
"Anything to make you laugh mi bella."
"Watch yourself bud." Tyler takes my arm, and leads me away. I see him glare at Jax as we pass.A few hours later I'm tossing and turning in my bed. I keep thinking about Tyler acting weird towards Jax. And what the heck does mi bella mean? Also the raging storm outside doesn't help.
Finally I roll out of bed and go to the washroom, taking an Advil and hoping it will help me sleep.
Sorry this is a sucky chapter. It's a filler chapter because I had bad writers block but just needed to write something. I promise the next chapter will be better!
