"How do you- how can you possibly know that?" I walk towards her.
"Do not move child. They can see everything." I freeze.
"He put cameras in?!" The woman turns around, handing me my tea.
"Of course. He is smarter than he looks. Now, we have to act smartly. Did you contact Jax with your phone?"
"No, Ivan took it. But, I used a morse code machine my dad got me for my 12th birthday." I laugh, "well, his secretary.""Ah." She slowly moves towards the window. "They're here. Get in the closet."
"What?!" She truly to rush to the window but one look from the women and I stop.
"You. Closet. Now." Faint gunshots start ringing in the distance. Be careful Jax. She all but shoves me into the closet.
"Wait." I turn around, facing the women. "Just in case something happens, I want to know your name.""Petra. And take this. Hide it until you need to use it."
"Wait, thank y-" the door is slammed in my face before I can finish. I retreat back into the far corner, and plop onto the ground, is rolling the gun in my hand.
A loud shaking jostles me awake. I hadn't even noticed I had been sleeping. The shaking gets louder. Someone is trying to get in. Sneaking behind the door, I switch the safety off of my gun, and slowly swing open the door. I place my gun slightly around the door.
"Don't fu*king move." I move from behind the cover of the door. He smiles at me.
"Hey baby.""Jesus. Jax I could've killed you!" He smirks.
"But you didn't. Although, someone might if we don't get moving. Come on." He grabs my hand, leading me out to my balcony. "Hold on."
"What?" I cover my mouth as a scream escapes me. Jax and I are rocketing towards the ground, with nothing to stop- we slam to a stop inches from the ground."Invisible rappelling rope. Tech departments newest prototype. Thank god it works." I smack him.
"Seriously?!" He detaches the clip from the rope, and we dash to an awaiting Range Rover. The driver speeds us away, onto the highway.I turn my head from the window to watch Jax sitting beside me in the backseat. He catches me staring.
"What?" I sigh.
"Do you maybe feel, like that was too.."
"Easy?" He finishes.
"Yeah. I don't understan-" Suddenly we're hit from the back, and the car starts spinning out of control. We're hit again and-Darkness.
Everything is dark. Where am I? Have I died? Oh my god I think I've died. I literally cannot see, hear, or smell anything. I can't move. The crash must've been terrible. I mean it probably was since I'm 99% sure I'm dead. But why am I conscious? Sh*t. It's another coma. It's definitely another coma. Hey at least I'm not dead! But what about Jax? Please let him be ok. I try closing my eyes to sleep. Still darkness. Come on Brianna you can get out of this...
~Jax POV~
"Ehem. Sir?"
"What." I snap at the young doctor with my head in my hands. Why did Brianna have to be the one to get hurt?
"She's- well sir, we think she's trying to wake herself up." I leap from the stiff hospital chair.
"What do you mean?"
"Look." The doctor points to a monitor."See those high points there?" I nod. "That's your girlfriend trying to what we call 'jump' herself awake. 50% of the time it's successful."
"So is she stable to move?" The guy blinks.
"Move?"
"Yes. Like on a plane."
"Mr. Vitolanti I-"
"I have a team ready on board and I'll give you $2 million to come with us. And continue to pay you as my family's head doctor." His jaw drops.
"We'll get it done sir."
"Wait. Kid, what's your name?"
"Uh. He laughs, I'm 19. And it's Andrew Peterson." He leaves the room.I move to stand beside Brianna.
"Come on mi amor. Wake up."Sorry for the short chapter! I promise the next ones will be better!
