I take my time choosing what to wear, trying to clear my head. All I can think about is how Tyler looked at Natalie when he saw her for the first time, and how we've been off lately.
After a few minutes of browsing through my closet, I pick something cute, yet on the baddie side. I'm going to need all the courage I can get to talk to Tyler.
I leave the closet, and Gwen is still sitting on the bed.
"Are they back yet?" I ask.
"I don't know." She says, shrugging. "Let's go see."We go to the living room, where Tyler, Natalie, Chad, Shane and Jax are sitting together. Tyler and Natalie sitting awfully close. I gulp.
"Hey so how was your test?" Gwen sits down next to Chad, leaving me with two options. Sitting on the floor, or on the arm of one of the couches, beside Jax. I decide to sit beside Jax. He looks at me, a slight grin on his face.
"Oh it was good, I think I did ok." Natalie looks down at her hands.
"Please," Tyler looks up grinning, "She was amazing." He quickly puts his hand over hers but I catch the action."I-I'm going to go." I start to stand up but Jax grabs my arm and pulls me onto his lap.
"I saw that too. He doesn't deserve you." I shake my head and yank my arm away. I look between Tyler and Natalie before I storm out of the room."Hey woah, where are you going?!" Tyler grabs my arm, and twirls me around. "What was that with Jax?!" His mood turns from concern to anger. Which pisses me off even more.
"Me and Jax?! How about you and Natalie?! I see the way you look at her ok? I saw that little hand action back there I-" I take a deep breath. "We've been sort off of lately right? But w- we can fix it.""I-" Tyler sighs. "I'm so sorry Brianna, I do really like you, but I feel like we're better off being friends. And- when I saw Natalie, I've never felt anything like that before." I close my eyes wishing I could just disappear. "I think we got together because you needed someone to be there for you, but now you have people, and you don't need me-"
"Tyler please-"
"Brianna it isn't fair to you, or me-"
"But we can fix it, Tyler it's going to be-"
"I think I'm in love with her." Punched. In. The. Gut.
"Oh. Oh." I take a step backwards, "I- I have to go. I'm- sorry." I turn and run, until I realize that I'm in a room. And I have no clue who's it is, but I don't care, I just cry."Brie. Hey." Someone enters the room, closing the door softly, and takes a seat beside me placing their arms around me.
"Who-"
"It's me, Shane." I sigh, feeling myself relax.
"Shane please just leave me be." He chuckles sadly.
"I can't. You're kind of in Chad's room, and he wants to take a nap." I scoff.
"Seriously?" Shane nods.
"I'm serious. Plus you're too beautiful to be upset." A smile tugs at my lips. "Come on, time to cheer up." He takes my arm lifting me up. We leave the room, and Chad just grumbles when he sees us."We need to get him a girlfriend." I say.
"That'd be a hard task." Shane replies, making me laugh.
"Sooo.... what's on the agenda for operation 'cheer up'?" Shane stops.
"How do you know what it's called?" I snicker.
"I was just guessing. But that's cute. You gave your plan a name." Shane narrows his at me playfully, knowing that I'm seconds away from bursting into laughter.
"You even think to smile, and I'll throw you into the pool." I feign pretend fear.
"Oh no, whatever am I to do?" Before I know it Shane flips me over his shoulder."Ohhh you are so dead!" I start to run at Shane, but a pair of muscular arms walk around me.
"No killing anyone Ace."
"Let me go Gio." Giovanni complies, and I turn to face him. Slightly behind him stands Gwen. "Why did you call me Ace, and what are we doing in the movie theatre?" Gio grins at me.
"I heard you got perfect on your test, never missed a shot." I shrug. "And," Gio steps close to me, taking me hands. "We're going to watch Iron Man." I whip my head around to Shane.
"You are seriously the best person ever." He smiles.A few minutes into the movie I notice Gwen and Shane had disappeared.
"They're totally hooking up." I whisper to Gio. He turns his head to look where the pair used to be sitting.
"How do you know?"
"It's kind of obvious. He's always staring at her with adoration, and Gwen looks back the exact same way."
"Ahh ok. I see that."Gwen and Shane never come back, so when the movie ends Giovanni and I decide to go look for them. After a few minutes of searching we find them watching another movie in Gwen's room.
"You guys are unbelievable." I say, half annoyed, half amused.
"What?" Gwen replies, "we don't really like Marvel stuff that much, we're bigger fans of DC." Shane nods his head in agreement. "Plus," Gwen continues, "we wanted to give you guys some aloneee time." She wiggles her eyebrows suggestively. I see Giovanni blush.
"Oh my gosh." I turn on my heels, and start walking down the hall to my room. Giovanni follows suit. I turn around to say something to him when I see Jax and Tyler coming the opposite way. "Sh*t. Gio, I need you to kiss me." He blinks in surprise. "Oh for the love of god." I grab his arm and start walking. "Tyler and Jax are right behind us, so please, just stop and kiss me." He bites his lip.
"Fine."He twirls me around so that my back is lightly against the wall, and kisses me softly. When I pull away I look at Gio. His eyes are gentle, and he gazes at me with an emotion I can't place.
"That was, nice." I say, blushing. Gio just simply nods his head, continuing to look at me. We stand there for a few minutes, and I look to the side, not able to handle his questioning stare anymore. "Hey." I note, "Jax and Tyler are gone."
"They are?" Gio follows my gaze. "Huh, I didn't even notice."
"Neither did I." I say breathlessly. I was so lost in Giovanni's gaze that I didn't notice. "Well, ahem, I uh- should go." I walk a few steps to my door, and disappear inside my room. I slide down my door, leaning against it."What just happened?"
