My alarm wakes me up at 8:00. Groaning, I switch it off and turn around to face Jax. Except he's not there.
"Jax?" I call, getting out of bed and making my way down the stairs. I hear the sizzling of something on a pan, rounding the corner to see Jax flipping eggs - shirtless may I add- in the kitchenette."Morning." He says without turning around.
"Morning." I reply, giving him a hug from behind. "You didn't have to do this."
"You deserve it. Plus, I didn't want to disturb the cooks." He gestures towards the island. "Take a seat. It's almost done."I plop onto one of the two chairs, rolling my neck.
"You feeling ok?" He asks, scraping some bacon and fried eggs onto a plate in front of me.
"Yeah. Just hungry I think." I laugh as my stomach rumbles.
"Well eat up. You'll need your energy tonight." Jax winks, sitting beside me. We eat in silence. I inhale my food, burping loudly when I'm finished. Jax looks at me like I'm insane.
"I've never heard a girl burp like that before." I pat his shoulder.
"It won't be the last time hon." Jax scoffs. After showering, I survey my closet for something to wear.
"No." Jax says. He stands in front of me, arms crossed.
"No what?" I sigh.
"You're not wearing that."
"Seriously? Why?! I'm 18 not 8." He grabs the outsides of my cover up, pulling them over me.
"You need to stay warm, covered and take it easy before the party, ok?" His eyes burn into mine. Don't Brianna don't-
"Fine." I grumble, "I'll change." Jax follows me into the closet, rifling through everything.
"Wear this." He states, walking out.
