Third Person POV:

As Jungkook made his way home, upset and heartbroken, he bursted through the front door and slammed it shut behind him. Taehyung took a few steps to approach him, but as he saw Jungkook's face, he stopped. Jungkook passed Taehyung without a single glance, walking furiously into his room, shutting his door.

Taehyung sighed, he wanted to confront him about the bond, but he knows better than to bother Jungkook when he's like this.

At home, alone, he could feel a sense of anger bury itself into his skin, he could feel Jungkook's pain. Taehyung felt like his insides were just burning, and his heart stung.

Thinking to himself, 'Why does he have to be in so much pain..?' frowning, furrowing his eyebrows, "I hope he's okay..." He sighed, knowing he wasn't.

Though Jungkook's mind was filled with anger, sorrow, misery, and regret, he could hear Taehyung's thoughts. As he heard his thoughts, he began to think about Dean's last words before he died, his pain only growing by the seconds that passed. A few tears were shed, but anger was taking control over him, his eyes had a maroon tinge to it, yet, he looked lifeless. Sitting down at the edge of his bed, lost in thought as a flaming aura consumed him yet again, as well as a few floating balls of fire circling around him, Taehyung merely peeked through the door.

"Woah..." Taehyung whispered. Jungkook jerked his head upon hearing Taehyung. The boy slowly closed Jungkook's door and quickly made his way back to his room, closing the door behind him as well as sighing in relief that he went unnoticed.

"What were you doing peeping into my room like that?" Jungkook asked, furious from the previous events.

Turning around, Taehyung felt like he had a heart attack. "My fucking gosh- stop doing that!" He shrieked.

Raising a brow, Jungkook folded his arms and gave Taehyung a dark glare, waiting for a response. Taehyung gulped, feeling inferior, "Okay jeez Mr. Death God, I was curious as to why you were so mad and upset, so I just went to check if you were okay." Choking out, "-Stop staring at me like that, it's fucking creepy... and quit appearing in front of me randomly like that, you're gonna give me an actual heart attack!" Taehyung complained.

Jungkook began to drift more into his thoughts again and he wasn't listening, Dean's words were still floating around in his head, he was simply staring into Taehyung's eyes, getting lost within them and forgetting he even asked him a question.

Taehyung waved his hand in front of Jungkook's face, "Hello? Are you awake or what?" He asked, patting his face, "You're zoning out... are you okay?" Taehyung took a few steps closer to Jungkook, trying to get a good look of him and try to read him, but instead, he was like a book that wasn't meant to be read.

Jungkook's eyes went back to red all of a sudden, and Taehyung could feel his insides churning. All he could do was merely wince quietly in pain. Jungkook nudged him away, "I'm fine..." he sighed, "I just need some fresh air... or something."

Before he could walk away, Taehyung grasped onto Jungkook's arm, also clutching his shirt where his heart was. Looking up at Jungkook with teary eyes, "Listen. I know you're not okay, and whatever the hell it is, it seriously hurts, so could you please stop being so hard headed and just tell me?" Huffing, not realizing that he's crying from the physical and mental pain within him.

Jungkook didn't even think about the bond, nor how Taehyung must've felt the whole time. His eyes softened and his thumb caressed Taehyung's face, wiping the few tears that sat on it, apologizing, "Sorry, I wasn't thinking about you, the bond, how you must've felt because of it." Sighing, guilt evident in his voice.

Taehyung felt butterflies in his stomach at the sudden action. "What happened to you?" He asked.

Sighing, taking a moment to breathe before speaking, Jungkook looked back at Taehyung and spoke, "Dean, the guy who lead that gang and... beat you to a pulp." He started, "he's somebody I've known for a while." Pausing, "He's the reason why, uhm... why my first love and I were separated and she... passed away. Before I became a reaper." He explained, furrowing his brows, "His last few words stuck to me and it just... it hurts."

The way Jungkook spoke was all Taehyung needed to know how he felt, and he listened.

In a way, he could hear Jungkook's heart crying. As he walked closer towards him, he gave Jungkook a comforting hug, leaving the reaper frozen; like a stone statue.

"It's okay, I know how that feels... to have someone you love so dearly, just, leave like that, so suddenly." Taehyung spoke in calmly, in a softer tone. If one were to listen to the two, you could feel just how much it pained him to even think about such a thing.

Jungkook knows he mustn't, he can't. He couldn't risk himself feeling weak in front of Taehyung, but he's already failed once, and he needed the comfort that he hasn't been able to grasp for ages. Luckily, Taehyung was there for him, though it was odd for the both of them, it eased both parties to be in one another's embrace.

Taehyung didn't think of it too much, but little did he know that he was blinded by the so called wall of love. He couldn't see it of course, but his heart felt every inch of it. His mind is the only thing refusing it.

Jungkook gave in and simply cried into his embrace, knowing that he had been punished with something so petty and stupid, that he regrets ever meeting Mina. Because of the punishment he received, by becoming a reaper, his heart felt what it was like to ache and burn again.
