It is now the end of April and henceforth I have gone on three more dates with Ash. Also henceforth I have received three more roses, an orange, a lavender, and a yellow with a red tip, from Ash. Tonight, we are going laser tagging. I put on a cream colored cold shoulder lace shirt with pink and blue flowers all over it, jeans and tan booties. My mom dropped me off at Ash's house and once again he gave me a rose, this one was salmon colored, I thanked him and left the rose at his house while we went to laser tag.

The guy at the desk said that we needed a gamertag and that it shouldn't be our actual names. "How about we pick each other's gamertags, then we'll be able to recognize each other." Ash suggested.

"Okay." I tried to think of a gamertag for Ash. I knew he was born in November so I was going to do something to do with that. Then I started thinking of things that describe Ash. He was often calm, cool, collected, and charismatic.

In the end, I decided on Cool_Topaz, because topaz was the birthstone for November and December. So it was the two of us, in a way. The gamertag Ash gave me was SmartBeauty, I was astonished. The guy at the desk said that there was a game going on right now so we'd have to wait. We sat down at these waiting tables where you could watch the game that was going on.

"Why cool topaz?" Ash asked me while we were waiting.

"When I think of you I instantly think calm, cool, collected, and charismatic. So that's why cool. And topaz because you said you were born in November?"

"Yeah."

"Topaz is one of the birthstones for November." I added, "And December."

"Oh."

"Ash?"

"Yes."

"I really, really like you."

"I really like you too Sophe."

"I think I'm ready."

"Really?"

"Really."

"Sophia Milton, will you do me the extraordinarily outstanding honor of being my girlfriend?" He asked while holding my hand and staring into my eyes.

"I will." I say smiling. "And will you Ashton Wilder do me the extraordinarily remarkable honor of being my boyfriend?"

"I will." He said, his eyes still locked with mine.

"Why smart beauty?"

"Because that's exactly what you are. You're smart and beautiful and kind and unique."

"I'm not-"

"Don't you dare say you're not because you are all of those things, you really are." He said staring into my eyes. I swear we were about to kiss, but then the guy said that it was time for a new game and we all went inside this little room where a lady told us the rules. A little while later we were in a large room with vests all over. I went to my assigned number vest and put it on.

"You know something Ash?"

"Know what?"

"I've never played laser tag before."

"Never?" I shook my head no. "Well we can stick together, if you'd like."

"Ok. But what if we're on different teams?"

"Um...do you want to still stick together?"

"If it's not to much trouble yes."

"I will, then." I smiled at his mention of I will. The doors opened and we headed into the darkened arena. Soon a throaty voice started counting backwards from ten. Everyone was running around like wild animals.
