"Merry Christmas!" I cheered, opening the door for a bunch of Auston's teammates.
They all nodded, heading inside to set down a bunch of bags near the Christmas tree.
"I'll go get Kasperi, Mat and Mitch!" I yelled to Auston who was currently trying to cook in the kitchen.
"Sure thing!" He yelled back.

I first went to Kasperi's room and without knocking, I went in.
He came out of his bathroom with nothing but a towel around his waist.
"Hey Kasp. The party is starting." I sighed, plunking myself on his soft bed.
He nodded before changing his clothes into nice casual wear.
He sat down next to me.
"How are you and Mitch?" He asked, smirking as I fixed his hair for him.
"What do you mean?" I asked, clearly confused by the question.
"You're not dating?"
I shook my head slowly.
"Nope. We went on one date. Plus why would he ever love someone like me who hurt him so badly."
Kasperi rolled his eyes before standing up.
"I'll see you downstairs. And oh! Stop bringing yourself down so much please." He smiled before leaving the room.

"Mathew?" I asked, knocking on his door before walking in.
I found him sitting on the floor in front of his closet.
"What do I WEAR?" He groaned, putting his head in his lap.
I laughed, turning to his closet.
I picked out a nice button up shirt and some nice jeans and threw them at him.
"Get changed and get your ass out into the living room."
He rolled his eyes, grabbing the clothes and heading into the bathroom.
He soon came out, looking stylish as fuck.
"Looking good?" He smiled.
I knew he always cared about his looks.
Something he shouldn't be worrying about because I mean... duh.
"Looking like a whole damn meal." I wolf whistled before standing up next to him.
He chuckled, turning towards the door.
"I'll be down after I get Mitch."
Mat smiled as I pushed him out the door.

I knocked on Mitch's door, fixing my hair in the process.
"Mitch can I come in?" I asked.
I could hear fumbling and groaning before a quick 'yes' was heard.
When I walked in, Mitch was tangled up in his shirt, (as he was trying to get it on before I walked in.)
I laughed as he took the shirt off and threw it on his bed. He leaned up against his wall and threw me a wink.
"Hey." His silly smirk made me giggle which just made him smirk more.

I hadn't realized.. but this whole time Mitch has been shirtless. I was used to a bunch of shirtless guys everywhere in my house, but the bare chest of a man never effected me until it was someone I was attracted to.
I scanned him up and down before reaching his eyes
"I know. I'm hot. Don't need to tell me twice."
I blushed, quickly turning away as he put his shirt on and fixed his hair.
"Okay. Let's go." I smiled, linking arms with him as we were out the door and down the stairs.

It was now gift giving time.
Everyone had given their gifts to Auston except for me.
"Auston Matthews. You are the best brother I could ever ask for. So for that I'm going to do ourselves both a favor."
Mitch sat down next to me, a big box with holes in his hands.
He carefully handed it to Auston.
Before Auston could open it, out popped a super cute puppy.
Auston's face was pure shock.
"We haven't had a dog since-" I cut him off.
"Since Chips and Salsa, I know."

"She's ours? Like actually ours?" Auston asked, petting the German Shorthaired Pointer.
I nodded, a smile creeping onto my face.
My brother quickly got up and pulled me into a hug.
"We should name her Nala." He smiled.
I nodded.
The team agreed with the name and we continued on.

Mitch turned to me. This was the last present of the night.
I had already given him my present, which was a ring with his number on it and a small heart.
He loved it.
I opened the box he handed me and pulled out a gorgeous necklace.
It had a diamond in the middle of it and the chain was gold.
"I love it so much. Thank you Mitchell." I moved to hug him at the same time he did.
It felt so nice and comfortable in his arms. I could stay like this forever.

Soon after everyone left, I decided it was time for bed.
"Goodnight Nala." I said, patting the dogs head and walking towards Auston.
"Goodnight Auston. Thank you for everything."
I hugged him.
"Goodnight Ella. Love you."

I walked upstairs towards Kasperi's room.
William Nylander was staying the night in Kasperi's room.
"Goodnight Kasp. Goodnight William." They both said their quick good nights before I shut the door.
"Night Mat."
He mumbled a quick 'night' as I passed his room.
His lazy ass...

And finally it was time to say goodnight to Mitch.
I opened the door to his room and walked in, seeing him on his phone.
"Hey Mitch."
"Hey Ella." He smiled, setting his phone down.
"Just wanted to say goodnight and thank you for the necklace." I smiled, sitting near his legs.
He sat up and faced me.
"Goodnight. And thank you as well."

A feeling overtook my body as I leaned into Mitch, my lips hitting his.
It was a quick, short kiss- like we would be doing it everyday for the rest of our lives.
He blushed as I got up and left the room.
"What a holly, jolly Christmas."
