I woke up in the arms of my boyfriend.
Today was our birthday.
I turned towards him and kissed him.
He stirred before waking up.
"Happy birthday." I mumbled kissing him again.
"Happy birthday to you too." He kissed my neck before pulling me closer to him.
"Clingy much." I laughed.
He shrugged before we both fell back asleep.
"Wake up bitches!" Mat yelled, throwing Mitch's door open.
I jumped awake, untangling myself from Mitch's arms.
"Ah! What do you WANT!" I threw a pillow at Mat's head and he caught it and threw it back.
"It's your guys birthday and you are just going to sleep?" He laughs, dragging me out a bed.
"What time is it?" I brushed my fingers through my hair and looked into his dark hazel eyes.
"It's about 4:30 PM." He shrugged, wrapping his arms around my shoulders.
"Actually?!"
Mat nodded.
Mitch groaned and opened his eyes to see me in Mat's arms.
"Stop trying to steal my girlfriend." He groaned, sitting up in bed.
Mat laughed and let go of me.
"I'm going to Matty's house. Kasperi is at William's house and Auston is going to skate with a few teammates so you two will be ALLLLLL alone." He winked, leaving the room and shutting the door.
Mitch and I laughed before getting up and going our separate ways.
"Hey babe."
Mitch smirked, handing me a shot glass.
"What is this for?" I smirked, watching as he reached up in a cabinet to grab some vodka.
"Your first LEGAL shot." He smiled, bringing the vodka to the counter.
"Oh shit I forgot I was turning twenty one." I laughed as he poured some vodka into the shot glass.
I grabbed it, swirled it around and set the glass to my lips.
Tipping my head back, the warm liquid rushed down my throat.
Vodka always had that burning feeling and that was never going to change, no matter how old you are.
A.. couple.. drinks later, Mitch and I were dancing around the kitchen.
"This song reminds me of you." I slurred.
"Oh yeah? Why's that?" He smirked, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Because you're so fucking hot."
Mitch attached his lips to mine and pushed me up against the counter.
"Happy birthday Ella." He muttered.
"Happy birthday Mitch."
