Mitch and I were TECHNICALLY a couple. He just has to ask me to be his girlfriend. It's kind of taking him a while. I sighed, opening my door. Since Mat was here this week and not in New York, I walked my way over to his room. "Hey Mat." I muttered, closing his door and crawling into bed with him. "Hey." His voice was groggy and deeper than usual. "Why hasn't Mitch asked me to be his girlfriend yet?" I asked. Mat turned towards me, his hair flopping in front of his face. "Maybe because he thinks you don't want to date him? Or because he's too scared?" I nodded, moving closer to Mat. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I wasn't surprised when I started to drift off. I could feel my body get heavy as my eyes closed and I drifted off to sleep.
I walked downstairs, my purse around my body. "Where you going?" Mat asked. "Mitchy asked me to come watch his practice. Wanna come?" Mat shook his head. "Nah I think I'm going to head to Matty's house." I nodded and grabbed my keys, heading out the door.
Mitch texted me and told me to meet him on the ice. "Hey!" He smiled, skating towards me. I opened the door and stepped out onto the ice. "I would have brought my skates if it meant we were gonna be skating around." I joked. He shook his head. "Nah I just wanted to ask you something." "On the ice?" "Yeah. Well. It's sorta like home to both of us you know. And well." Mitch started to get nervous. I nodded, showing him that he could continue. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He spit out. My resting bitch face was soon replaced with a bright smile. "What the fuck? Of course Mitchy!" I laughed before resting my head on his chest. "You're so cute." He grinned.
