"Good morning." Auston sighed, as he trudged downstairs in his blue checkered PJ pants that he's had for literally 5 years. "Good morning. Are you ready for your game today?" Auston shrugged as Kasperi and Mitch came downstairs. Kappy was already dressed in his suit and tie while Auston and Mitch were shirtless and still wearing PJs. "Well now we know who the most organized person is in this house." I laughed. Mat came trudging down the stairs in a hoodie and sweatpants. I waved at him before turning back to my cereal.
I felt an arm wrap around my neck and lips on my cheek. "Hey." Mitch mumbled into my neck. "Hi." I smiled. Auston rolled his eyes before smiling.
Mitch and I headed upstairs to get changed, him into a suit and me into a Marner jersey. I had been wearing the jersey he gave me a long time ago and even forced him to sign it. I know I know. You shouldn't wear signed jerseys but when you're literally friends with everyone on the team, you don't need to keep it as a valued possession.
I sighed and headed into my bathroom. I put on some light makeup before I felt arms wrap around me. "You don't need that." Mitch mumbled into my neck. "I do when I look like a raccoon." I pointed out, fixing my hair and turning towards him. He stuck his bottom lip out and I pushed him out the door. "We can get Tim Hortons at the rink!" He gasped, grabbing my hand and running out the door.
I stirred my double-double as Mitch sat down in front of me. "Better?" He asked. "Better." I smiled. Before he could do anything, I whipped out my phone and took a picture of our mugs. "Are you going to post that?" He smirked, taking a sip of his coffee. "No but I can send it to you so you can." I smiled. He nodded.
