I nervously knocked on Mila's door, purposely showing up 30 minutes after so that I didn't seem weird.

She opened the door and eyed me "You're late so now I have to call my mom and let her know you're here so I don't get in trouble" she huffed at me and let me inside.

"Sorry I was...busy" I told her as I scratched the back of my neck before turning and locking the door.

"It's okay Stokes just come on" she told me as she grabbed my wrist and led me upstairs to her bedroom where all of the project stuff was already sitting.

I sat on her bad and looked around a little while she typed away on her phone. Her room still looked the same as it did when she'd actually allow me in her house, blue bed set and well organized black marble dresser with her shoes lined up beside it while I'm sure some of them were in her closet with her jackets.

"Okay, are you ready?" She asked me as she got down on her floor where the stuff was.

I nodded and got down too, sitting across from her.

"It's says that we have to do a project on black history and it has to be done by the end of this month so we have some time to get it together but she wants it on this poster board with the time and date along with a real picture of that person" she informed me making me nod.

"So how do I help?" I asked her.

"I look up the stuff and the people while you write down what I say and who it is so we can have them ready for the poster" she instructed while handing me a notebook and pencil.

I took it from and started to write the stuff down like she told me to, listening to her soft voice for this long was enough for me and I honestly don't think I'll be able to make it out of doing this project with her without nutting in my pants at least 10 times, depends on when we get done.

"Okay that's it" she spoke taking the notebook out of my hand as I finished jotting down the last person.

She smiled as she looked down at the paper and then looked back at me with the same smile making me low key blush.

"Aw Stokeley pokeley your handwriting is so neat and cute" she spoke making me smile and pop my imaginary collar.

"I know girl just like me" I said in a joking way so she wouldn't know that I still had a crush on her.

Her giggle made me feel relief to know she didn't take it that way.
