Go Ninja Go CH.3

Katrina's POV

Work couldn't have gone by any slower, everyone was well and habitats were clean. I decided to walk around a little bit to answer vistors' questions. Standing by the lake turtles I smiled, who would of ever guessed I'd have feelings for a mutant ninja turtle. Thinking about the brothers I thought of their age, were they older or younger than me? No way to tell cause they're huge, teenagers maybe? Nah.

At the end of the day, I left for home with sore feet and cramped hands. Not even fully out the door to the aquarium my phone rang, it was a blocked number. "This is Ms.Valance." "Come over. I made food." It was Raphael, I smiled shaking my head. "Hopefully you won't poison me." "Now why would I do that?" "I'm not sure, make me your slave?" "That's a good idea let me write that down."
Laughing I climbed into a cab, "I'm going home first I'll be there in 45." Hanging up I watched traffic move by slowly, once I got home I showered then changed into something more comfortable.

Raphael's POV

I tricked Katrina, I was going to start training her so if a foot solider got to her she'd be able to escape. She cannot get kidnapped I wouldn't be able to handle myself and think clearly. I waited for her at the usually meet spot, once I saw her I SAW her. There's no way I would be able to stay calm with her figure showing that like. "Hey." I barely got that out, "Hey yourself." As we walked to the lair she told me how her day was boring since there were no sick animals and their containers were clean.

"So what are we eating?" "We're not." "So you lied to me?" Her voice rose sharply, "Does it matter?" "Uh yeah!" "Don't yell at me." She snorted and I felt my fist clench, "I can yell at you if I want to." I rose my first and punched the wall behind her. She didn't flinch at all and kept her hard stare on me. "Raphael!" Donnie pushed Katrina away from me, "I'm alright Donatello. I was just leaving." "No you weren't." I stood blocking her way, "Raphael." "Katrina." I picked her up and threw her onto my shoulder with Don's stare still on us.

"LET ME GO!" "Raphael what are you doing?" Splinter asked, "I'm going to train her I need everyone's help." Katrina's kicking and punches stopped, "I told you already I can't." "Yes you can!" Her sad excuses for not fighting pissed me off. I sat her on her feet and cupped her face, "For me." I saw her sigh then nod, "Good."

Leo's POV

I watched Raphael train Katrina, they yelled other at each more than anything. She's tiny so swift, but he was strong. Her face was red and she was limping but didn't quit. She collapsed, I stood quickly but Donnie shook his head. "Katrina are you alright?" Seconds later she pounced him with her mouth on his neck biting down and her hands twisting his shoulder. Clever. After some more rounds Katrina laid down with her face shinning with sweat. "I'm done." "No you're done when I say you're done."
Katrina stood and walked over to Donnie, "May I?" Donnie handed her the staff slowly. She seemed to be pretty good at the staff and got a few good smacks but took out Raph by stabbing him in the knee.

'Damn, this girl isn't something to mess with.' I walked out the dojo and went back to reading her folder. Her past still wasn't clear to me, maybe I could ask her.

Katrina's POV

I was somewhat proud of myself, I pinned Raph 4 out of the 10 times. Raph hugged me, "You did good." I knew he wasn't the type to hand out compliments often so I took it with no side remarks. It was Friday night so I knew the streets would be packed with clubbers and tourist, "Hey Raph can I stay the night?" I saw his mouth open then close, "I'll ask Splinter." He walked off somewhere while I headed to his room, on the way Leo stopped me. "Can I talk to you?" "Um sure."

I followed him to what seemed to be his room, on his bed I saw an open folder and recognized a paper. He had my whole life in one file. I sighed, "Leonardo I'm not going to hurt him or your brothers." "How can I trust you?" "Don't you think I could've taken your blood to the government and told them your location?"

"Well I didn't really see if you took Mikey's blood." "I didn't. Leonardo, you see my file. Tell me what you were thinking when you read it." "That you stand up for what's right." "Okay, I  work as a pre-vet in a aquarium that only holds animals who won't survive in the wild. If I wanted to expose your family I would've given one of y'all a tranq that we use to put animals down. Did I do that?"

I saw him mull it over, "You don't have to trust just yet but look at the evidence before you tie my noose."

Walking out Leo's room I stormed past Mikey with pizza on a paper plate, "Katrina." I whipped around and stared, "I got you a slice." My anger diminished, smiling I took the slice of pizza. I shouldn't get mad at Leo, he was only trying to protect his family. I would be acting just like him if my sister was still alive and some new guy came into her life. I had no idea where Raph was so I laid on the couch watching Mikey play Halo. "Do you think there are aliens out there?" I guessed he was asking me, "Yes, we haven't discovered most of our own planet so who the hell knows what's on other planets."

15 minutes passed and Raph was still no where to be seen, "Mikey where are your brothers?" "No clue."  Raphael finally entered the room, he looked stressed. I sat up, "You ok?" He nodded still looking grim, "I'm going to bed." He left quickly, "Goodnight Mikey." "Night."

I followed Raph into his room and shut the door. "I don't want to talk." "We don't have to." He was on his bed covering his face, what the hell happened? "I'm going to go home, so you can have some space." "Don't." I sat behind him with my arms around his neck, he laid back and I laughed. "Don't crush me." "What was that? I think there's a bug in my room. Let me squish it." He let off and laid down bringing me with him. I fell asleep smiling at him.
