Shelladellic CH. 4

*DREAM*

She was pinned to the ground, who would do this to her? Someone that hated the person she loved. She stayed strong, crying but silently. Her femur was broken and she wanted to cry out in pain but didn't. A man in armour put a foot on her face, "So pretty, yet so stupid." He kicked her in the head, struggling to keep her eyes open she spoke. "He'll kill you first."

Raphael's POV

I had gotten up early for training, when I went back to my room to wake Katrina up she was crying with her eyes closed. "Katrina." I pressed my hand to her face and her eyes flew open, "What happened?" She shook her head, "Dream. I'm okay." Her breathing slowed after a little. "I feel disgusting." "Why?" "I'm in yesterday's clothes." I didn't understand humans and their need for daily showers and new clothes. Something was bothering her, she was never this silent. "Are you hungry?" She nodded fiddling with her thumbs, I grabbed her hand. "It was a dream. Just ignore it."

Katrina's POV

I sighed when Raph walked out his room to get me food, I didn't even remember the dream. I felt scared and my mind was distant, "Morning Katrina." Leo walked in saying, "Good morning leader." "I apologize about yesterday." He bowed, "No need to do that, I'm about as royal as dog shit in Central Park." He nodded standing straight again, "Can I ask you about your family?" I swallowed hard, "Sure, what do you want to know?" "Where are they?" "Most are dead or I've detached from them." "Explain?" 

I sighed again, "My sister she uh damn it um she got stabbed in class by a man with a mental disease, she bled out, my parents died of old age, aunts and uncles live in the south or west coast." Leo nodded, Raph walked in with a box of cereal giving Leo a stank look. "Thank you." I took the box staring at it, I wanted to vomit. I quickly walked out the lair and emptied my already clear stomach, someone rubbed my back. Turning I saw it was Donnie, "Thanks." "Are you okay?" I nodded, "I uh just need to go home. Tell Raph I'm sorry." I walked away needing to be alone, I only got sick when bad things were going to happen. 

Leo's POV

"Raph is she okay? She just puked," Donnie sounded concerned. "I have no clue man. I don't understand humans." Raph stalked off to the dojo, "What happened?" Donnie turned to me, "I don't know she seemed upset before I talked to her this morning." "What'd you talk to her about?" "Her family." "What did she say?" Splinter asked walking in with Mikey, "Most are dead or distant." 

"Looks like she's as much as a loner as Raph is." "He has us, she has nothing." I had no idea why Donnie was getting so worried, he had no ties with Katrina. Or did he?

Raphael's POV

I couldn't take it anymore, she hadn't contacted us for 5 hours. I left the lair with no words and headed to her apartment, it was sunset. When I arrived at the same spot I first saw her she was lying on her balcony. I jumped over there and she didn't flinch, "Katrina." She sat up with her eyes red as blood, "Raph I-I don't know what's wrong with me." I picked her up and took her into her bathroom seeing she hadn't changed. I started the water with one hand humming random tunes. With the water warm enough I took a breath in, she was upset I couldn't get excited. As I undressed her she feel limp in my hands like a rag doll, the whole time I washed her she was staring at her hand blankly. Sucking in a deep breath of air I grabbed her face and kissed her. 

Her lips were warm and soft, I felt her hand intertwine with mine. I pulled away, the original light finally returned to her eyes. Pulling her out the water I spoke, "Want to hear a joke Mikey told me?" She nodded as I dried her fine body off. "Why don't lobsters have friends?" "They can't talk?" "Cause they're shellfish." She smiled, "Thanks Raph." I looked into her eyes, "Anything for you." 

I held her until she fell asleep, her phone rang around 12 I decided to answer it. "Hello?" "Who is this?" It was a girl, "Raphael, who is this?" "I'm Katrina's best friend, is she busy?" Looking down I saw she hadn't stirred, "She's sleeping." "When she wakes up tell her I have chemo in the afternoon tomorrow." "Okay." "Don't hurt her please, she has no family. She wouldn't be able to take it." The line went dead.

Unknown's POV

"Master we located a turtle." "Where is it?" "With a human." "A human?" "Yes sir, shall we attack?" "No continue to follow this human then we shall hit them where it hurts the most. Right in the heart."

Katrina's POV

I felt warm, rough arms around me and hot breath on my neck, opening my eyes I saw Raphael's arms around my waist. Remembering from earlier on I realized he had seen me naked, was he attracted to a human body? I doubted it, I turned around which woke him up. "Morning." He smiled at me, was I falling for a mutant turtle? "How old are you?" "19, why?" I smiled, "You're younger than me." I kissed him, it felt so nice. I turned onto my back as Raph continued to kiss me, I pulled away after feeling something on my leg. "Um Raph what's on my leg?" He looked down and turnt red, "Uh uh nothing!" He peeled off me and ran off, after some time I figured out what it was.

"Raph!" I couldn't stop laughing, he walked in still red. "Its not funny." I stood and saw I was only in a towel, "That might be why that happened." I went to my closet trying to decide what to wear. Raph wrapped his hand around my waist and swiftly took off the towel, "You look better like this." He kissed along my neck growling, I tried to ignore him. His hands traveled upward and grabbed my breast.

I chuckled pulling out a simple white dress. "Red." I pulled a red dress on after plying off Raphael's arms. "How do I look?" "Better naked." I avoided his grabby hands and pulled my curtain closed, then checking my phone seeing that Jayla called. "What did Jayla say?" "That she had chemo in the afternoon." It was only 9, hopefully Donnie would call again so Raph could say where he was. I laid down again, Raph climbed on top of me.

"Raph we can't it-" "We can try."
