AUTHORS NOTE

HELLO EVERYBODY! I HOPE YOU ARE ENJOYING THE STORY SO FAR. I JUST WANTED TO EXPLAIN SOMTHING REAL QUICK. SO THIS STORY IS GONNA STRAY A LITTLE FROM THE ACTUAL MARVEL CONTENT. I KNOW THAT THE AVENGERS MET SPIDER MAN DURING CIVIL WAR BUT FOR THE SAKE OF NOT RE- TELLING THE STORY OF CIVIL WAR I AM GOING TO PRETEND IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. NOW ON TO THE CHAPTER.                                                                                                                           ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Surprisingly the BLT Thor made me was pretty good. Three movies and a BLT later I fell asleep on the couch at around 1 am. I woke up about 9 hours later, sitting up I had looked around. The entire room was empty that wasn't normal. It wasn't the first time I had fallen asleep on the couch but that doesn't exactly stop the Avengers from carrying out their every day life. Apperantly while I was sleeping my dad had brought in a Stark Industries blanket and tucked me in on the couch. I looked at my watch it was 10 am which just made the situation worse. Starting to become worried about why no one was in the room I stood up and walked out, Well... Tried. I had completely forgotten I had a sprained ankle, so I had fallen flat on my face. The second time I got up I used my crutches and walked out, Again.

As I walked down the corridor looking for someone I remembered we had an all seeing computer system. "FRIDAY. Where is everybody?" I called. "They had an emergency mission that they had to go on Ms.Shea. They said they will be home later today." FRIDAY responded. "Oh and Ms.Shea your Father had told me to tell you that..." She was cut off by a loud clunk, and possibly a small yip from me. It sounded like it came from the training area.

I walked to the top of the staircase leading to the training area. "Hello?" I called hoping that it was Happy or someone that I knew. My heart was pounding against my chest, it was so loud you could have herd it from the other end of the hall. You might be thinking "Umm Addison is the daughter of Iron Man and has a big family of people who are super heros, she shouldn't be scared." Well everyone, Yes I did grow up with super heros and assissans teaching me to fight. Heck I train with Natasha every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday but this was diffrent. In combat sure I am trained but I was never put into the field because my family was afraid that I would get hurt. Even though they put their lives on the line all the time without hesitation.

All of a sudden there was a thud behind me, I turned around to see a person in a spider suit jump from the ceiling to the floor facing me. "Hello!" The masked person said with a little wave. Needless to say it caught me off guard. I stumbled back a little... A little too much and I dropped my crutches as I fell down the stairs. I think I blacked out after that because the next thing I saw was the ceiling of training center.

That must have been a dream right? I mean FRIDAY would have told me if there was a intruder in the tower right? I grunted as I sat up and looked around. I saw the masked figure leaning against the wall he was talking to someone. "Suit Lady, Can you tell me how to see if Mr.Starks Daughter has a concussion." My grunt I made when I sat up must have alerted him that I was awake because he took one look at me and ran over and kneeled next to me. "What happened?" I asked. I was a little nervous to say the least, a masked man looked at me and moved my head to see if I was hurt as he explained. "Um... I was walking around and I kinda scared you and um you fell down the stairs, you got knocked unconscious. Are you ok Addison?" I started to ramble and said "How did you get in here? How do you know my name? Who are you?" He took off his mask and held it to his chest. I surveyed his face, he was my age or a little older and I could tell he is kinda flustered by the way he said " M-My name is Peter Parker and I was brought here by your dad Tony Stark before he and the other Avengers had to leave for a mission. B-Before he left he told me that you were taking a nap." He helped me up and grabbed my crutches and handed them to me. "Are you ok?" he asked me again.

I started to laugh which caught him off guard. "Well that was one heck of a first impression, Peter was it?" I said. He broke into a smile, I gotta admit he is kinda cute. We walked to the elevator. I actually think that my ankle is better now because I walked to the elevator without my crutches. "Soooo, Addison." "Call me Addy." I corrected him. "Ok Addy, how does it feel to be the daughter of the famous Tony Stark?" He asked with a smile as we entered the elevator and the doors closed. " Well, I guess its pretty cool but he isn't my real Dad." I responded. "He adopted me after my parents were killed by a ball of lava when Tony was fighting Magma." I had a bit of guilt coming up from inside of me. I hate talking about my parents death, it makes me really uncomfortable. There was a long awkward silence as the elevator moved upward. I looked down at my feet as I fiddled with my hands, I think peter caught on to the fact that it made me uncomfortable because he changed the subject.
