Tears?

I must have dosed off because I woke up to the end credits of RETURN OF THE JEDI. Opening my eyes I saw Peter sitting on the other side of the couch munching on popcorn. "Hey Peter..." His focus snapped from the screen to me. "Oh your up." He said with a bit of a grin on his face. " your dad and the other avengers are back from their mission."

I sprung up from my spot on the couch. " Come on, we are going to talk to my dad." I concluded, grabbed peters hand and pulled him off the couch. I let go of his hand immediately after I saw his face go tomato red and look at my hand pulling his. He glanced up at my face when I let go. "I am so sorry." I spit out as I put my hands at my side, I must have blushed because Peter grinned back, he said that it was fine and sprinted down the hall towards my dads lab... Or where he thought my dads lab was. He ran down the hall as I chased after him. He must have not been paying attention to where he was going because he ran directly into Thor. Of course Thor was unfazed by the teenage boy ramming him in the chest but Peter fell backwards onto the ground. I had to restrain myself from wanting to giggle, I just let out a quick smirk an then ran over to Peter who was laying on the ground in shock.

"Are you ok Mid-guardian?" Thor questioned as he leaned over Peter. Scrambling to his feet Peter looked Thor up and down before realizing who he was talking to. His face went from shock to frantic in a fraction of a second. He glanced at me with a look that said help me. "Thor, this is Peter Parker..." I said looking at Thor. "Is this young man your boyfriend?" He shot back with a questioning look at Peter. Peters face flushed every shade of red and I must have too because they both looked at me. "No... He is dads new recruit. He is Spider Man." I spat out before turning to Pete and giving him a look that said Lets Go, I turned gave a death stare to Thor and walked down the hall. I could hear Peters feet trailing behind me but I could still feel my face was red so I didn't make conversation until we made it to dads lab.

"Hey kid, Sorry for just leaving you here." I herd dad say from inside the lab. He must have been talking to Peter because he walked over and patted Pete on the back. We walked into the lab and I sat on the table while we talked. Dad started explaining what happened on the mission and Peter and I could tell that he was trying to fight back tears. This worried me Because Tony Stark is a man of many things but a tearful emotional  man he is not... Except when it came to me and my past.
