The Avengers Raised Me

Dinner

I sprinted into the kitchen where I saw that familiar black and green cloak. "Uncle Loki! Your really here, In New York!" Loki turned around from facing Thor just in time to brace for impact. I leaped and flung my arms around his neck. It may have caught him off guard because he stumbled backwards, hugged me back then laughed. "Why Addison you have grown into quite a beautiful young lady haven't you." Then he saw my black eye. "What happened?" I looked for a lie that would fool even Loki, I finally just said "I tripped and fell." He seemed to believe so I was very relieved. I hadn't seen Loki sense I was about 12 when he came to see me for my birthday. We caught up for about 15 minuets then FRIDAY told us that dinner was ready and on the dinning room table.

We had steak for dinner while Loki talked with Dad, Thor, and Uncle Steve about some kind of stones that I had no idea what they were. Later that night we had all moved out to the couches to continue talking, the subject had gotten changed to my new choice in schooling. "Yeah dear Brother, Addy is now going to a normal mid guardian school." Thor spoke as he looked at me. "Well?" Loki looked at me waiting for me to speak, when I didn't he continued. "Do you enjoy school?" I took a few seconds to think of a sentence, I couldn't say much about Peter or I might let on that I like him, but I really couldn't say anything about Flash or Loki would make sure he wouldn't make it to school again. "It's good, I mean I know most of the concepts in math but I am learning alot in Art." I disclosed, hopefully they won't ask of my friends. Loki nodded then looked at Steve who had just said something but I didn't hear it.

The conversation between Thor, Steve, Dad and Loki went on for about an hour and a half, but I fell asleep on the lap  Uncle Loki at about the hour mark. Loki looked down onto my sleeping face and smiled. Tony was about to say something but Loki told him to be quite then pointed to me. Steve offered to carry me up to bed but Loki said that he would do it. Standing up he carried me in his arms down the hall to my room and tucked me in. I slightly awoke as he tucked me into my covers. "Uncle Loki? Are you going back to asguard tonight?" I uddered still half asleep. He smiled a soft, warm smile snd spoke in his smooth voice. "No Addison, I am going to be here till saturday night. Now go back to sleep, you are tired." I nodded and closed my eyes then drifted off again when Loki shut my bedroom door.
